What do you think of the girls name Lennon? Maybe paired with a more feminine middle name?

Hmm. I think it has potential! Hearing it right away makes me think, No, but I think it could grow on me. It's just new!

I like it...I have a friend who just named her daughter Lennox and I think it's so cute!

I like Lennox more than Lennon, but I do know someone who named their girl LO it!

I have a friend with a boy named Lennon. I love it. I think it could go for boy or girl.
I wish I had thought of it.

I like it! It definitely reads unisex to me but I assume you are ok with that.

I know someone who just named their boy Lennox, and I think Lennon sounds like a boy as well.
That being said, I like it anyway!

I would anticipate people constantly asking if her parents are huge Beatles fans. What about Linnea?

I really like it. I have a friend whose son has that name, but i definitely think it suits a girl!
Maybe Lennon Grace?

It makes me think boy but I also think that it works. It goes with your LO's name!

It could grow on me, but I think you'll have some confusion. If I heard a girl being called "Lennon" at the playground, I would assume her name was "Lemon" (although maybe I wouldn't consider that as a name option if not for the character named Lemon on Hart of Dixie...)

I like it - my cousin's little girl has Lennon as her middle name.

Lennon was on our list if we had a girl! I don't know if you watch Nashville but the actors that play Rayna's daughters are sisters in real life and the oldest one's real name is Lennon. Lennon and Maisy.

It's ok. It sounds like a boy's name to me. I would also assume her parents are Beatles fans.

It makes me think of the Beatles
So I'd say it makes me think of a boy but maybe with a very femine middlename (like Rose) it would work...

@mamimami: Haha I said the same thing about the Beatles before reading your comment!

@walnutems: That was my first thought as well. Because I know of Lennon and Maisy I assume it's a girl's name.

I have a friend with a daughter named Lennon and a friend with a daughter named Lennox!

@walnutems: that's who I was going to point out
I really like it for a girl.

I really like it. It does seem unisex so if that isn't your thing I'd avoid it but I would use it. (Our DD will have a unisex name as well.)

I like it! Makes me think of the lil girl on Nashville.

Ooh! I like it! Especially with a more feminine middle name.

I automatically think of a boy, but I think it has a soft enough quality to it that it works for a girl. I think it would be great with a super feminine middle name, like @Mrs. Jump Rope: said. I loved her suggestion of Lennon Grace. I think it would work really well with your DD's name!

It's okay, but #1 makes me think parents are huge Beatles fans and #2 you have to consider what her nickname would be. Are you okay with Lenny as a nickname? Because it's likely people will end up calling her that...

I think of the Beatles too, but I like it for a girl! Especially if you use a girly (and maybe more traditional?) middle name. I'm not sure if you are pro or anti nickname, but you could call her Leni or Lena for a short/more girly sounding nickname

I actually know 2 Lennons (both girls) I love it. One goes by Leni.

I think if you glance at the name really fast you see "Lemon"....

Wow! This got a lot of responses early in the morning today!
I'm not sure its a name we would consider using for a lot of the reasons listed above, but I think its kinda cute.
