Did anybody else preorder this carseat? Who did you order it from? Are they telling you it will be shipped late June? I really hope I get it before my August 1st due date!!

I am so bummed about this! I really wanted this car seat, but this isn't the first time they've pushed back the release date. It was originally supposed to be released next month. I read that certain retailers will have some in stock to ship late June for those that pre-order, but I wasn't willing to pre-order it because I am worried they will push the release date back again or there won't be enough to fulfill all pre-orders and we won't get it in time for our August baby. We went ahead and ordered a Maxi Cosi. It's not as pretty as the Mesa, but we saved a lot of money!

I'm in Canada and SO hoping it's released here before my Sept 20th due date. It looks so beautiful and has such great features. Last I heard for Canada was maybe July/early fall

@lawbee11: Did you get the Mico? That's my backup plan. I like the look of it a lot and it seems to fit the UBV more seamlessly than the other options.

@char54: Yes! Got it off NBD (No Better Deal) last night for $107! The Mesa is $279, so I guess the money we saved makes up for it.

Yeah I definitely need to decide on a "backup". That way if it looks like its not going to get here I can go ahead and just buy a different one. I really have my heart set on it though!! We already bought the Vista so I definitely want something that works well with the stroller.
