Uppababy Vista vs. Cruz

I have the cruz and I love it (we don't use it too often yet though), but to echo @raintreebee, it's not great on bumpy roads. I was going to take my LO on a walk in my neighborhood, so we'd be walking on asphalt rather than sidewalk, and it was so bumpy! I turned right back and put LO in our jogging stroller instead. I think the cruz is better for suburban life, like smooth pavement and going to the mall, etc.
it's definitely smaller than the vista but the vista has better wheels. My friend who lives in nyc said the vista is very popular, despite its size.

We have the Cruz and love it but we live in the suburbs so hefting it in and out of the car was a concern and the Vista seemed too big and heavy for us. We love the handling but we don't go on rough or cobblestone surfaces - mostly walks in our neighborhood and shopping. The Cruz has such a big storage area in the bottom which I love and has no bar in the middle like the Vista. We also have the Mesa car seat which we love because the installation was so easy and it clips into the Cruz. LO doesn't like being in the car seat so we have been using the stroller seat since 6 weeks. We got the Summer Infant Snuzzler and it works great for $10 over the expensive UP baby insert. LO naps fine in it at the deepest recline with the shade drawn and a tiny white noise machine. We also use it with the Britax parent organizer - the UP one was pretty worthless.

We were debating and I'm glad I went with the vista for the difference in tire size... Super helpful for snow, grass, curbs, stone or other all terrain surfaces

I thought I'd chime in with another vote for the Cruz. I love it and LO seems to love it too.

We purchased ours on giggle during Thanksgiving last year - I think they were running a 20% promo at the time. There should be some sales coming up so you can probably get it for less than retail.

@hellobear: yes, i have to stop and lift the wheels frequently over large cracks in the sidewalk. but i just read about the 2015 version that will have improved wheels. it will be more expensive, but in my mind worth it depending on the terrain you are using it in.

Vista for sure. That thing steers like a dream and is such a smooth ride. We live in NYC and I lug it onto the subway all the time, I haven't found it to be too heavy at all but maybe I am just used to it. We have a G Luxe too and I still find myself using the Vista as much as possible.

Love love our Vista! LO only strolled in the bassinet twice, but we live in the suburbs and carseat was always easier to snap in. We did use the bassinet for her to sleep in our room for the first 6 weeks. A major factor I picked it was for the rumble seat and/or kick board options. Depending on when we have a LO#2, I can add either on the Vista. As for the handlebar thing on the Vista (vs. not having one on the Cruz), the Snack Tray accessory has got to be hands-down the best thing ever in my LOs book! I wish we had one for our other strollers!

I really do love the UBV....Sometimes it would annoy me that the tires are sooooo wide, took some maneuvering to get though shop doors sometimes (the struggle is real, lol) but other than that it's been great. I don't recall there's a huge price difference (I got ours on sale, or had a %off code or something) so for a minimal price difference, I'd go Vista.

Oh and I don't find it heavy. I have a little SUV though so pulling it in and out isn't a big deal....
