I took DS to the ENT doctor today. They confirmed that he has a severe lip tie. (I would have to be blind to miss it....) Anyway they informed me that they could not clip it in their office. The ENT that we dealt with didn't feel comfortable doing and then pasted the buck to the dentist.

Bee's I need support here. DS sucks so much air and I just want to help him. Not to mention I am extremely concerned about his speech as he grows up if it is not corrected soon. (DS is 3mo. ) I have also read about it causing issues with teeth spacing. Presently he sucks so much air when he eats. I would love to Breastfeed more, but the latch is awful. He currently gets pumped breastmilk from a bottle, hence the sucking air.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I already had DS's tongue clipped and we didn't catch the Lip tie then.
