Do you own the light grayish-brownish wool suit from Banana Republic? If so, do you wear it with black? I always wear brown or cream with this suit, but I have a black and cream shell that I think looks good that I would rather wear for an interview day (better black shoe options)... Thoughts?

@septca: Sounds good to me - when it's a tricky colour, I usually look at it in different lights - but if it's hard enough to tell what colour it really is, then you can get away with a lot of different things.
I have a white blouse with either black or navy polka dots - I can't tell, and when I ask people what colour it is, I get 50-50 answers - so I wear it with both!

@tinyperson: It's actually the *perfect* suit - looks professional, but is great for summer and doesn't have the stiff formality black suits can. The color up close is really a combination of black and brown, so I figure you can wear it with anything!

I wear it with black sometimes, but always wonder to since the color is sort of hard to pin down. I'm glad to hear someone else thinks black should be an option with this. I'd go for it.
