DH and I are considering taking a vacation to Orlando this summer. Any must see or must do things out there? Tips for discounts?
We'll likely be there for a week, know we want to visit at least one disneyworld park, and possibly the Harry potter thing at islands of adventure.
Any restaurants we must try?

There is so much to do there and I'm definitely not an expert. I went for work last summer and my mom came with me. We've done Disney quite a few times so we just went to the Magic Kingdom one afternoon/night. We did a full day at Islands of Adventure to see Harry Potter (and the other side should be open this summer, lucky!). Our hotel was close to Downtown Disney (shops/restaurants, no admission) so we ate there a few times and everywhere we ate was great. Have fun!
ETA: I still think everything is a lot of fun as an adult/not having kids!

Do you like Thai food? This place is really good. You will have to venture outside of the theme park area though.
I-Drive/ international drive can be just as fun as the parks. There's fun stuff to do and places to eat all up and down the street. At night I-Drive is really fun because of all the neon lights. There's a Ripley's Believe It or Not, the world's largest Mc Donald's and a carnival fair.

Downtown Disney is fun, they have lots of cool restaurants and shops. Citywalk does too. I live in Florida so I haven't done too many touristy things though... Sorry but you'll have lots of fun! Maybe a water park? It will be hot enough!
