Any cute ideas for your SO or LO's?
I plan on making sugar cookies with the LO's this afternoon.
I'm running out of cute/sweet ideas for DH. Last year I did a Beer-quet using cupcake liners to make 'flowers' of beer bottles. I've also made a "Love Potion" label for a bottle of Jack Daniels. This year DH isn't drinking alcohol so need some new ideas!

We also will do cookie decorating and maybe a couple dollar store trinkets for my boys. My in laws are watching the kids so for like only the second time ever we are going out to dinner on Valentine’s Day! We snagged a last minute 5 pm reservation haha!
As for what I’m giving DW, I usually do fancy handmade truffles from a local place. Last year she was on mat leave and I had chocolate dipped Oreos delivered at home while I was at work (I think someone on here suggested it!) and they were awesome! Sometimes I do custom cupcakes too as there’s a great shop down the road down my work. This year, I’m changing it up and bought a new, ahem, ‘adult toy’ for us to enjoy all year round

We don’t really do Valentines Day - we’ll have heart shaped pancakes for dinner, and I got a book, a toy, and a little box of candy for the boys, but between my husband and I it’s a non-event.

I make heart shaped pancakes for DD for breakfast, her lunch will have a heart shaped sandwich and the rest of the foods will be heart shaped or reds and pinks, and we make mini heart shaped pizzas for dinner as a family.
We give DD a card, a balloon, a piece of candy, and a book.
DH and I just exchange cards, no gifts.

I got DH a card and a custom shirt
I got the kiddos some candies and cards from the dollar store
And we always get flowers for DD that we take to her school and have them deliver to her classroom. We've done this every year starting at her in home daycare when she was 2... she LOVES it and gets sooo excited. She feels so special. It's the cutest!
Its so hard to come up with good ideas and gifts for DH.... like really... just too hard.....

I got our girls a little box of chocolates and we’ll probably make heart shaped pancakes. Not a huge V day fan except for getting flowers!

I like this post! Pregnant with first so I don’t have to worry about her gift. I love the ideas for Los though and will steal some for next year!!!
But I struggle every year with DH. I am just not into the holiday at all but he is. I’m leaning towards a watch for him.

We don’t do gifts but I sent DH some chocolate covered strawberries and he usually sends flowers. We make homemade pizza rather than going out and usually split a fancy bottle of bubbly though I’m pregnant this year. DD is two and I’m liking these ideas!

I have no idea. It's a Friday, so I'll probably just pick up some pastries on the way home. If the kids get a sugar rush, they can stay up late

DH I I don’t get each other anything. Maybe I’ll pick up a bottle of wine for us to share if we can kick these colds.
DS1 and I will be baking cookies to take to daycare. They will be for the kids and teachers.
I got both boys a stuffy and DS1 is also getting chocolate and a book.

My kids will be going to Grandma's with flowers and a hand-made card while DH and I stay at home, make a dinner of filet mignon, lobster tails, baked brie, some wine I have been saving, and a selection of desserts from the grocery store. Still pricey, but a heck of a lot cheaper than going to one of those Valentine's day dinners.
I don't really get my kids anything...they get enough from their peers at Valentine's day exchanges.

The best thing as far as my kids and DH are concerned is a homemade baked good so depending on my schedule I will try to make it happen. Otherwise I got the kids some books because it happens to be the beginning of presidents week break.

Love the valentines day heart pancakes. 
Maybe we'll make the Saturday - on a weekday it's not happening lol.
We did cookies last night which the kids loved.
I decided to give DH a pair of gloves and write I gLOVE you on it, lol. Clever? We do have a sitter for Friday so hopefully can do dinner somewhere not super-expensive.

My girls get heart shaped themed lunches (I basically go nuts with my heart cookie cutter) and we do chocolate fondue at home as our Vday tradition so the girls always look forward to that! I get them small boxes of chocolate and DH cooks dinner (usually steak or lobster) for us after they go to bed.

I got the kids each a balloon and a little gift (slime, small candy), donuts for breakfast. DH usually just gets a card and some candy. This year it’s TJ’s dark chocolate peanut butter cups. Since it’s a Friday and he’s off I’m going to try to sneak out in the morning and get Starbucks and pastries.

DW and I exchanged small gifts already. Friday DS will get candy and some new slippers. School has a PJ day but they don’t do class valentines for some reason. Next weekend we have our date night because that’s when we could get a babysitter

I never know what to do for Valentines Day beyond a card and making a nice dinner. It's also a few weeks before my husband's birthday, so I save good presents for that. I like some of these ideas though!

I got dh a card ... sometimes we have a date ... usually a special dessert with kids. I don’t expect a gift either.
I definitely went overboard from the usual on kid treats this year. Candy hearts, a stuffed animal (since both older kids have been wanting a certain one) and a fun book each. I usually do less but my MIL, who sent them crazy gifts and treats for every holiday, passed away last fall and I think I’ve been subconsciously bridging the gap.
