We don't do gifts to each other, however if I was to buy him something I would get him a new circular saw (so romantic) and I would want a new Kate Spade wallet to go with the purse I just got for a steal. But most likely the money will go to the remainder baby stuff we need! ha

We don't do gifts. We cook a nice dinner at home. He gets a card and sex.
If we did do gifts I would get the new Fitbit watch, Surge, that he wants.

I started the tradition of getting him a photo calendar that starts in March. He usually just gets me flowers We'll likely cook a nice dinner as well.
Last year, we gave each other new windows for Valentine's Day. This year, we're putting shades on one of those windows haha...only took a year!

I'm getting him a massage package. He's been saying he needs one and complaining about his back.

I got a groupon for his favorite restaurant. We don't usually do gifts for birthdays or holidays, so it's more than usual. We're only going out because I found the Groupon

I am terrible at gifts, but I love Valentine's Day so I really want to get him something. I think he would actually really like some kind of personalized mug. Maybe from LO.

I created a coupon book of date ideas on datevitation.com last year! He loved it!

@petunia354: I did something like this this year!
We have gotten really lazy about creative dates...way too many "uh, lets just get dinner' so while we budget for dates, they are usually lame haha
So I planned out a full year of date nights, 2 per month out of the house and 2 per month at home (we only get a babysitter every other week). I used a local coupon book to find some cheaper ideas (indoor rock climbing, putt putt, etc., added a bunch of local microbreweries we want to check out (they usually have live music and are a fun low key place to hang out). I printed them all out as little cards and bound them with a binder ring.
I got the idea here

Groupon always has a lot of great activities to do in our area so I use that a lot for gifts. Some years we don't do much but go out to dinner. Our anniversary is just a couple weeks before V-day so it doesn't make sense to spend a lot of money on both.
