@redsmarties: wohoo!!! I hope you did
It's yet another day I can't test, haha. 7dpo. I'm testing on Saturday. I can't help it!!

@sslm: haha, I know exactly how you feel. I'm only a day ahead of you, 8 DPO. I'm trying to hold out until Valentine's Day (Fertility Friend is telling me I can test on the 13th, so what's another day), but I don't know if I can really last that long!!!

@redsmarties: Yay! I think I just O'd too! Wish you luck!
Finally can say I'm in the TWW. I'm expecting AF by Valentine's Day. I think I'll test on 2/12 and then on 2/14. I want to find out as soon as possible since my doc said he wants to see me right away. I think he's going to put me on progesterone b/c of my two MCs.

@mrskc: Yay! Glad to hear you O'd!!! I hope the TWW flies by for you! It's been dragging for me, haha.
bananas / 9357 posts
@Adira: Thank you! I don't think it will ever fly by. I just want two weeks to go by so bad. I'm just thankful I'm busier at work to help keep my mind off it. Fingers crossed for you!

Ummm... so I tested, only 7dpo and I swear there is the faintest of the faintest of the faintest of lines. Omg. So I took the test apart and I can definitely see it. It's not enough to take a picture, I tried, it doesn't show up even with my fancy camera!! Anyway, I am not convinced it's there, I am going to have DH look when h gets home. Plus, it was a blue dye test so... could be unreliable for sure. Could be an evap. Can't conclusively tell if it's a grey or a blue line. But OMG.

I mean, maybe I am more than 7dpo? I don't chart so I can't be sure. I just went off of when I stopped having EWCM

@sslm: Sounds promising. Re-test in the morning or go get a pink dye test to see if it makes a difference. Fingers crossed for you!

Just read this so not super hopeful:
Should I take my test apart to see the line(s) more clearly? No. Removing the test from its plastic case changes the test's exposure to air and humidity. Air and humidity affect the manner and rate at which the dye and chemicals cross the test. If you change the environment before the test is finished, you risk drying it out too quickly-- and when a test dries too quickly, the dye may dry in places it would not have otherwise-- making an evap line appear to be a positive result. Additionally, the tests are intended to be used and read while intact. If you think you see a line, but it is so faint you really can't tell, it's probably an evap line and should be considered negative.
Please note: pregnancy tests will work almost anywhere-- the problem is not the amount of air or humidity in general, but changing it in the middle. HPT's are scientific little things, and to achieve greatest accuracy, the environment should not be changed while the test is running.
If you want to photograph or scan your test for posterity (or for posting to your message board buddies for opinions it can be easier when removed from its plastic casing (to eliminate glare.) If your test is positive, go for it! If it's negative, or you're not sure, you're in a tough spot . . . removing the test from its casing while the test is still wet can "speed-dry" an evap line and make it darker/harder to interpret. But tests are not completely dry at the 10-minute time limit; by the time they dry, the test has passed the 10-minute limit and should not be read. If you think you'll be in conundrum, use a dip-style test or remove the test from its casing before you apply urine.

@oliviaoblivia: I'm going to buy 2 tests. One for this evening, one for tomorrow morning so I can use FMU!!! Trying not to get my hopes up too high.

@sslm: Good luck! Let us know the results, I'm sure we're all anxiously waiting! Fingers crossed for you.

@sslm: Fingers crossed!! Hope that line really was there
I"m hanging out at CD 17, and I"m pretty sure I either O'd yesterday or will O tomorrow. Either way, our timing should be pretty good...so we'll see what temps this weekend brings

I tested again with a dollar store test, BFN. Who knows, but I really shouldn't get my hopes up so much!!!

@sslm: Sorry. But don't give up hope. It's not over until AF rears her ugly head. Good luck!

@sslm: You're still early for a BFP, don't count yourself out yet!

@mrskc: @oliviaoblivia: Thanks! I know, I just feel stupid that I thought I saw something.

I got a negative this morning. After researching false positives on blue tests, I feel really stupid. I'm going to step away from this thread for a few days.
I hope everyone has a great weekend and baby dust to all!!!!

FF finally decided that I ovulated last Saturday, which is what I thought all along. So, thanks for getting a clue FF!!
@sslm: Don't worry, it happens to everyone. No one here thinks you're stupid!!

@sslm: We do all understand! I'd have done the same thing if I thought I saw a BFP!

@SSLM- Aww don't feel stupid! We all would have done the same thing/ Sorry you got your hopes up, but don't consider yourself out yet!!

False alarm, you guys. That temp spike was just a fluke. I'm back down to low temps, still waiting on O over here at CD25. Realized that the cold pills I took at the beginning of the cycle probably messed me up really good....if I had known, I totally wouldn't have taken them at all.
So frustrating! Looking like less of a Valentine's Day POAS and more of a late-February POAS.

Hmph...I thought I had O'd on CD 16...and then my temp dropped today at 4dpo. And I had EWCM today! What is going on...?
@redsmarties: Ugh that's so annoying!!Hopefully your ovaries will get the memo that it's go time
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
Well ladies, looks like I'm out. My temp dropped drastically today back below my coverline and back to where it was pre-O, so I'm expecting AF any minute now.
Good luck to everyone else!!
pear / 1986 posts
@Adira: Bummer! I'm sorry to hear about your temp drop.
@Hilsy85: That's weird! Let us know what happens over the next few days.
@redsmarties: It's crazy that the cold pills could throw you off so much. I'm always amazed at how the body responds to things like that now that I'm paying more attention.
I'm on CD12 and hoping for a positive OPK today. We've been BDing every other day since CD7, so hopefully we'll catch the egg this time!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@GreenThumb: Thanks! It's okay though - it was really unlikely that I'd get a BFP on my first cycle. And I think my husband is looking forward to "trying" some more, haha.
bananas / 9357 posts
@redsmarties: Aww that's too bad. My cycles have been long too and it sucks waiting so long to O.
@hilsy85: Hmmm that sounds confusing! Let us know what happens.
@Adira: Too bad! Hopefully you have better luck next month.

@Adira: awww sorry! onto the next! baby juju for cycle 2
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@mrsjyw: Thank you! At least cycle 1 was short (only 27 days), so I get to start trying again that much sooner!
bananas / 9357 posts
I don't know why, but I'm not feeling very optimistic this month. I just have this feeling that my body isn't ready since my MC's. My cycles have been long, my LP seems short. I'm still hopeful, but I wont be surprised if AF shows up next week.
pear / 1986 posts
I'm still waiting to O (hopefully today or tomorrow), so I'm hopeful for now. I've got cramping on my right side... could it be O? I haven't gotten a positive OPK yet, so who knows. We are heading to visit friends all next week, so that will help make the TWW fly by. I think I am going to wait out AF before testing. I think I'd rather see AF than a BFN this month.
pear / 1986 posts
@mrskc: Sorry to hear about your MCs. Hopefully your body will regulate cycles very soon!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@GreenThumb: I did what you're planning - I just couldn't bear the thought of seeing a BFN, so I waited for AF instead. I wish AF hadn't shown up at all, but I think that was less depressing than seeing the BFN.
pear / 1986 posts
@Adira: I've fooled myself into thinking I was pregnant for the last several cycles, so I think I'll just let nature take it's course. A lot less expensive that way, too!
