I've been breastfeeding for the better part of two years and had two firsts lately. My first bleb. Ow. Ow. Ow. For days. And my first (that I can remember) inability to let down because of stress. It sucks. There's no point to this post; I just don't have anyone IRL that I can whine to about this without having to explain a lot.

My kids are close in age and spacing to yours and I too, have recently realized that my let down has been slower due to stress. It really frustrates my LO sometimes. So annoying! And she pinches me so bad that one breast is bleeding, raw and all scabby all around the nipple. LO1 never pinched me like that!

I'm sorry! I had my first bleb at right around 2 years too, and it suuuuuuuucked! By that point, I was pretty smug that I'd avoided any pitfalls. Nope! Solidarity!

@Mrs. Sunshine: Little stinkers. I love nursing, but I have to admit I really relished those last few months of pregnancy when LO1 was weaned and LO2 wasn't here yet.

@MrsSRS: blebs hurt like no other!! I had one one time and remember it clearly. Mine was sore for a few days after as well.
How funny, I never feel my let downs anymore and haven't in a loooong time!

Blebs are SOO bad! I had one for 2 months! It flared up this last weekend, and I was literally in tears all weekend from nursing. Last night I even thought about quitting bf altogether. But this morning free warm compresses, essential oils, lecithin pills, it finally broke during nursing! Hang in there and try all of the methods you can to get rid of it ASAP!
