So I started a post previously asking on advice on preventing a flat head in your LO when sleeping. Even though he's young (8.5 weeks now), I started slowly by having him sleep on my chest during naps and then next to me in his bassinet during the day so I could watch him. We do tons of tummy time and when he naps, he is able to turn his head side to side. The other day, we went for his 2 month checkup and doctor forbid us to put LO down to sleep on his tummy. I understand that there are risks and there's a potential for SIDs but I wouldn't do it if I didn't feel confident in my son's ability to turn his head. DH and I got into a fight later that night because I put LO down to sleep on his tummy, despite what the doc said. I started putting LO on his back to sleep/nap starting yesterday and he cries almost immediately everytime I put him down (I rocked him to sleep too). I want to show DH I support him and validate his parenting decisions but at the same time I'm not able to do anything or get that much rest because I am soothing LO everytime he cries. Ive been at home taking care of LO while DH works. I'm so tired. Any advice?
