My husband bought our townhome in 2008 and I moved in 6 months later after we were married. Our unit was the last one completed before the housing bust took over and our builder went bankrupt and pulled out. Butm, we always knew that someday more units would be built (it was just patches of empty land).

Fast forward to Oct 2012 when my LO was born. One month later, we received a flyer stating that construction will be taking place. Starting in January, small movements started taking place and I was excited for growth of our neighborhood. But I never realized what a big nuisance it would be. The past 6 months, it has been nothing but a huge annoyance. For one, they are really loud. There's banging, constant beeping, trucks rumbling, etc and they start really early, even on weekends and go all day. It wakes me up and my LO every morning. The units being completed are above us and below us so the trucks are constantly going back and forth moving things.

We can't take our walks in the stroller anymore around our neighborhood bc there's dust and rocks everywhere and they also broke the sidewalk in several places with the heavy trucks and equipment. I've also had two flat tired from nails in my wheels which I'm pretty sure came from them.

Sooooo frustrating!
