Only once and I don't think it helped!

We did (do, a lot) and for us it was AMAZING! Remember though: it'll help congestion but it won't work miracles for all symptoms. He still coughed and felt hot, but at least it was a raspy cough and his nose wasn't clogged.

We use it just on his chest and it works fairly well when he has a bad cough. There's been a couple times where he still woke up in the middle of the night but we re-applied and it kept him sleeping until the morning. That and having the humidifier going full blast have been huge helps this winter.

@shopaholic: We use it on the feet and chest. Along with a humidifier, it seems to help R! Hope K feels better!

We use the baby vicks

@shopaholic: we used it on the FEET with socks because I was really afraid that he may find a way to ingest it. We started at 8m old because I remember that was the very first time he ever got sick. Target has "baby Vicks" but honestly, we used adult Vicks.

I would at least try! Sorry you are dealing with a sick baby

I second what @locavore_mama: said.... We use Maty's - but feet only in socks in sleeper... I think it helps! Steam & cool mist humidifier are also key!

We use the adult Vicks and use it on her feet with socks or footed sleepers only. Even at nearly 2.5 years, I'm not comfortable putting it on her chest.

We've also done the Vicks plug-ins before and almost always use the humidifier during the winter.

@shopaholic: Walgreens! Not in the baby care aisle (because that would actually make sense), but in the allergy/children's medicine area. It was on a bottom shelf. That's where I found all the ped stuff. If you can't find it, ask for it. It was next to the baby Vicks. I got this instead of that because it was all natural, but I did get the baby Vicks vaporizer plug ins. Those work for both of us!!!!
