The last few days I've run into an ad twice that kind of hijacks my browser. I try to scroll away from it and it the video pulls my focus back down to it. It's REALLY annoying. I can't tell google ads to stop showing it either.

I had this a week or two ago, and reported it to mr.bee, but at the time I was the only one having it happen. It's since stopped. At the time I just went into task manager and stopped Adobe from running (when I was on the desktop).

This has been happening to me all weekend!! Today it WAS a Starbucks ad. Yesterday, it was something different.

I've been having this trouble on my phone whenever there is a video ad. Manually pausing the video seems to help

I've been trying to track down the issue, and haven't had luck. Will investigate this tomorrow and hopefully we can get to the bottom of it! It's annoying the heck out of me too... sorry everyone!

It's not just on Hellobee! I've had it happen several times on different websites. So aggravating!

I finally found a setting that I could turn off... they added it last year and had it on by default!
Hopefully this addresses the issue... will keep an eye out. Please let me know if you see similar ads!

It might take a day or so for the new settings to percolate through their system. I'll keep researching things though, just in case there are other settings we can turn off!

I'm getting partially hijacked today. It will all of a sudden pull me to the add, but it's letting me scroll away from it without having to wait until the add is over. In fact, it just happened again while I was trying to type this.

It's been happening for a few weeks to me. Only on my laptop and always the Maytag ad. It's super annoying because it ends up freezing my browser. Only happens on HB. It's when the video ads starting; the site runs super slow when I'm on my laptop because video ads don't run on my phone

I just had my first video ad that wouldn't let me scroll up. I can't remember what it was advertising but it was a black and white video ad. I had to click on the ad to get it to stop.

I watched the whole thing but couldn't find a specific company or product behind it. There was a logo in the bottom right corner of the ad and I was waiting for them to show the logo at the end. (They didn't.)
I know the one I saw was filmed in black and white and it was some sort PSA about drugs & addiction. I should have taken a screen shot of it.

I've been in regular contact with our ad provider, and have been sending them regular screenshots with detailed reports of the issues. They've acknowledged the issue, and have their malvertising team working on it! Will report back when we know more.
