In the market for a new video monitor! We have a Summer one (our second Summer monitor) and for some reason it interferes with our (crappy) wireless and keeps "losing signal", even though we are right across the hall 🙄
Need something that doesn't rely on said crappy wireless internet (so no home security cameras), and something that can accommodate 4 cameras. Heeelp!

We have this Infant Optics one and really like it:

We only have one camera hooked up but I believe it can accommodate four. We've had zero issues with interference.

We have the same Infant Optics one but we have had problems with interference when the parent unit is too close to a device (phone, tablet, computer). We resolved the problem by switching our wifi from 2.4GHz to 5GHz. But we also managed pretty well by just keeping it a few feet from any other devices. That's only annoying when you have it plugged in to charge so you can't move it very far.

I also have the infant optics dxr8 and love it. It has pan/tilt, temp reading, & can do multiple cameras. We haven’t had interference issues but we have two different WiFi options so I think it’s inthe one we use least. Can you upgrade your WiFi? I think most of them use it nowadays

@skinnycow: seriously. So. Annoying. It wakes me up at night randomly beeping bc a camera is all of the sudden "out of range". I'm surprised I haven't tossed it across the room yet!
@Portboston: would LOVE to upgrade our wifi, but there is only ONE provider in our area, and we have their "best" package/speeds. So it is what it is. Small town living!
