I am going to purchase a video monitor for when my LO makes his transition to his crib. We have one for my daughter, but I can't find the one she has anymore and I don't remember what kind it is (Summer Infant something). Has anyone bough one recently that they love?

I just ordered the 3.5 inch motorola that everyone raves about. I had ordered the Foscam, which was *fantastic* but not for Mac users. I could not get the sound to work for the life of me. But, if I had a Windows computer, I would have kept it a million times over! I only paid $99 for it on Amazon, it was pretty easy to set up, and the quality to view over the computer was great and easy to use. The two iPhone apps I downloaded to use with it allowed me to zoom (as you'd zoom into a photo on your phone), which the computer didn't allow (zoom isn't a "feature" on the cameras anymore). I know some other users have the Foscam, but if you have any questions I can definitely answer some!
Again - I would have kept it in a SECOND if I could have gotten the sound to work on my Mac!

i have the 3.5 motorola - love it! i love that it has a night vision. i actually bought 2 cameras for each of my kids.

We have the medium-sized motorola. It's smaller than the 3.5 inch, and it doesn't pan if that's a feature that you care about, but it works great!

Thank you so much for the advice! I have to admit that we don't need anything too fancy, because our current video monitor doesn't do ANY of that stuff! But I have a feeling I can easily get use to zoom etc

We bought the summer video monitor with touch screen and night vision and we love it!
