As someone who is ridiculously cheap when it comes to clothes, this whole having a kid thing is hard. I want her to wear cute stuff. But I'm painfully aware that she will grow out of stuff in a few months or at most wear things for one season and it kills me to spend much on her clothes. Most of what I buy her comes from target or a resale shop or b/s/t groups for her shoes.
So I'm fascinated by people who have super well dressed kids with these amazing wardrobes. And like, more shoes than I have. lol
If your kid has an awesome wardrobe, is it just a line item on your monthly budget? I would think you could spend upwards of $100/mo easily shopping at places like gap where one kid's shirt is $30. Or are you just way better at resale shops than I am?
