With DS1, I WAH two days a week and office three days a week. My mom was always our primary care. When we were still nursing, she'd be over at our house and I'd nurse LO as needed while holed up in our den for most of the work day. He's now 3 and attends parttime preschool for 4.5 hours three days a week.

DS2 - I now work at home mostly except for a few days a month in the office. My mom is still our primary care, but depending on the day she'll watch him (or both boys) at her house.

The days that she watches the kids at our house, I feel like I'm trying to do everything with work and everything I can to try and lessen the load with the kids for my mom too!

I'm grateful for our balance and situation, but it's definitely hard to balance work during the day and sometimes I push it out to just work when the kids are down for the night!
