LO has no interest in crawling, but loves to stand (with my help), it got me curious, I wonder if she will walk before she crawls. Has anyone's LO done this?

Mine second was a really late crawler. She didn't crawl until 11 months and then learned to walk pretty much right after that. Before she crawled she would scoot around so I guess she didn't find crawling neccesary.

We thought DD was going to go straight to walking without ever crawling. In actuality, she pulled up, stood up, and started cruising around 9 months, finally figured out crawling a couple weeks later, and took her first steps at 10 months. She just wasn't interested in crawling, I guess!

E stood by herself before crawling! We thought she would take a few steps because she was reaching for us while standing. She finally started crawling at 10 months and has taken a step but no walking yet.

DS has loved to stand (assisted) pretty much most of his life, and he's really strong and has been able to bear his own weight for months and months so we were wondering if he'd walk first but he started crawling, and then pulling himself up. No walking yet, but we're guessing it will be before his first birthday (maybe even by our beach trip a month or so earlier).

@Bao: Did your LO end up walking first and at how old? My LO is almost 9 months and still not interested in crawling.

My mom said I did. (not sure that her memory serves her right or not)
