Will you be watching Fear the Walking Dead? DH and I have it set to record this weekend, I really hope it's decent. I love the Walking Dead and would love something similar to get me through until the next season starts.

What's it supposed to be about? Is it related to the actual Walking Dead?

@MrsBrewer: it's set in LA and it starts at the beginning of the apocalypse, so we'll get an idea of how it all started.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: From what I've read, we still won't really know how it all started. FTWD just gives a picture of what the start of the apocolypse looked like - it's set in the time-frame of when Rick was in the coma in the hospital. It's all about how people dealt with the spread of the "virus" (or whatever). The directors have said they'll never reveal how the apocalypse started. I'm not even sure that's ever covered in the graphic novel (though I've never read it, so I can't be sure).

@Bao: I didn't watch it last night. It was so hard not to, but I'm hoping I can get my husband to watch it with me, so I'm waiting until Wednesday night. Oh, it will be tough not to take a peak. I've watched the 5 minute preview like three different times this past weekend.
