@.twist.: I'm assuming Maggie is mad because Glenn is treating her like she's really delicate and Glenn is frustrated because she's pretty much ignoring him. Either way, I agree. It's dumb and it doesn't make sense to hold such dumb grudges, especially in a situation like that.

@.twist.: totally agree, the first episode back was very disappointing, but the new one was better! I'm so glad Daryl is back, he is by far my favorite character, and the group is sort of falling apart, so they need him. The Rick going crazy thing is sort of driving me crazy, so it will be interesting to see where that goes. Oh and Andrea is an idiot, I hope she starts figuring things out soon.

@.twist.: yes! to everything you said! The first episode sucked. I'm kindof done with Rick now, and am crushing hard on Daryl.

I think Meryl will become a part of the group, maybe the groups asshole but I think they'll let him stay!

  4. .twist.

@MrsTiz: Yes, I think now that he helped save Rick they'll let him stay but they'll keep a close eye on him and he'll really have to work hard at being a better asset to the group and a better person in general.

@MrsStormy: haha I was saying that to my husband last night when we watched the latest episode. I am SO sick of Rick being crazy and seeing shit. PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER MAN. I just want to shake him! HAHA.

Hopefully everyone had some time to catch up if you're like me and have to DVR it because of when it comes on. I thought this week's episode was really good. It really brought out more emotion and showed how it affects someone psychologically to have to go through what they go through. Rick going crazy was almost just kind of irritating but seeing Morgan's mental state and hearing how his story played out makes it more tangible somehow.

    cantaloupe / 6800 posts

@BelugaBean: I agree about Morgan, but Rick seems to be getting his act together since Carl called him out on being crazy.

I kindof wish they would have taken Morgan with them, or maybe moved to his town..seeing as how the Gov. knows where they are in the prison!

  7. .twist.

    pineapple / 12802 posts

@BelugaBean: Yea, I definitely liked seeing what happened to Morgan. So sad and probably quite accurate in a real-life scenario!

I enjoyed the episode too. I wish Andrea wasn't so stupid though. I'm so worried about this war that's possibly going to happen! I don't understand why you wouldn't want as many people as you could get, to start a new civilization!! Rick turns everyone away!

  8. BelugaBean

    pomegranate / 3516 posts

One thing I will add is that I read that the person who wrote this week's episode is the one that's taking over as the main showrunner next year so hopefully this is a sign of things to come!

@.twist.: I don't understand Rick either. You think he'd want as many people as possible on his "army" but he seems to be just terrified of them. If nothing else, could they not live in different cell blocks in the prison but work together? And I wanted Andrea to just shoot the governor so badly. I honestly thought though that he might wake up and kill her first because she was taking so long!

  9. BelugaBean

    pomegranate / 3516 posts

@MrsTiz: I thought they should move to the town too because it was heavily guarded and they need something like that for the baby. And yeah, Rick seems to be better after Carl seems to be noticing plus I think seeing Morgan is helping him to come back down to reality.

And I like Michonne's character a lot more now, she seems to have a lot more personality.

  10. MrsTiz

    cantaloupe / 6800 posts

@BelugaBean: I know! Michonne actually smiled this week

  11. .twist.

@BelugaBean: OMG! I totally thought he was going to open his one eye and then kill her too!! HAHA.

@BelugaBean: I really like her character actually, I wish she was more vocal but who WOULDN'T want her on their team! She is like a samurai master zombie killing machine!

I really loved this week's episode. I thought it showed Rick that he needs people around him to survive this thing. And that he can't go it alone like Morgan. I'm really glad they tied that storyline up, because I have been wondering about Morgan and what happened to him! What a sad story though with his son and wife.
I think Rick is realizing that there is hope and he does have something to live for and fight for.

Has anyone been watching the Talking Dead? It's really interesting! They really go in depth and talk about the themes of this season and the 'what ifs', like with the backpacker guy. I think Rick might have picked him up on the way back from seeing Morgan... too bad he ended up being zombie food.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I haven't had the chance to watch it. I've just PVR'd the season of the Walking dead and never catch the Talking Dead because I don't have it recorded. It looks really interesting though. I should try and catch it one of these days.

This week's episode was insane! I was on edge the entire time. The whole thing kind of freaked me out and I told DH it was probably going to give me nightmares. I don't understand how the governor found Andrea multiple times though, especially when she was in the field. How did he know to drive into that field? Either way, I thought it was a good episode.

I also think Tyreese is going to switch sides soon or play a big part in the war. I think there are only two episodes left this season so I'm pretty sure it's going to end in the middle of the war which is going to drive me crazy.

For anyone else wondering, I just looked it up and it looks like the fourth season doesn't start until October! So hopefully they don't leave us on edge too much (although I fully expect them to).

    pomegranate / 3516 posts

Also, I really started to like Andrea a lot more in this episode and I wish Milton had just listened to her when she asked him to go with her. I feel like his ending is coming with how mad the Governor seems at him.

  17. .twist.

    pineapple / 12802 posts

@BelugaBean: Oh my gosh!!! I know! This last episode was just so intense. I keep hoping that Tyreese and his girl are going to use their brains (they seem to have them!) and get the heck out of there!! I really like them and I think the two of them would make a really nice addition to the Ricktatorship family!

I also started to sort of like Andrea in this episode, although the whole time she was in the warehouse I kept being like "YOU STUPID GIRL. DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW TO SNEAK SILENTLY???" hahaha it's like she hit everything and anything that was in front of her! I am really wondering who is going to save her, maybe Tyreese?? I just don't think her character is done yet. I feel like there is more Andrea to come.

Oh, and the governor is just INSANE.

@BelugaBean: I finally started to like Andrea too!!! Just when she's starting to make good choices (finally) she's nabbed by the governor! Who freaks me out... he's the worst! (Could I use any more exclamation points!?)

I kept having to pause it this week because it had me so on edge, it annoyed my husband

This week definitely had me on edge too! I was freaking out the whole entire time.

  21. BelugaBean

    pomegranate / 3516 posts

@.twist.: I don't think she's done either. And I thought the same thing about her hitting everything. And why didn't she take the truck? That's what DH kept yelling. He was like "Either take the truck or slash the tires!" and I fully agreed with him. I also hated that Rick thought he was having a vision the one time he actually wasn't.

I just was so nervous the entire time I was watching it. I wish I had another episode to watch right after that one.

Have y'all seen that the director has said over 27 people will die in the finale? Who do you think it will be? Which major characters?

  23. BelugaBean

    pomegranate / 3516 posts

@th_momma: I don't know if he's major but I do think Milton will die. I also feel like either Glenn or Maggie is going to die soon. I just hope it isn't Darryl but Merle dying wouldn't surprise me.

  24. .twist.

    pineapple / 12802 posts

@BelugaBean: OH man my husband was saying the same thing! Why didn't she take the truck!

I also think milton will die, but I think there is still something big left in him. One more major F-YOU to the governor??

Also also, I hope you're wrong about Glenn or Maggie, I will be SO SAD.

  25. BelugaBean

    pomegranate / 3516 posts

@.twist.: Maybe Milton will be the one to out how the Governor really is to everyone and get Tyreese over to the other side?

I hope I'm wrong too but I just feel like that would create some tension/drama in the show. I've felt like Carol will die for a while but I don't think so now with the renewed tension/friendship she has with Darryl. Do you think the baby will die? Or Beth?

  26. th_momma

    coffee bean / 37 posts

@BelugaBean: I agree! I definitely think either Glenn or Maggie will die but not both of them (it will be super sad). I think Milton will go, and I think that Daryl will either have to kill Merle or choose between saving him and people from the prison (perhaps Carol).

I also don't think Andrea will live. I don't think the Gov will kill her, but I think she's going to redeem herself somehow through sacrifice.

  27. th_momma

    coffee bean / 37 posts

My husband and I have had arguments about Judith. I don't think she's safe, but he doesn't think they'll kill a baby on cable TV.

  28. .twist.

    pineapple / 12802 posts

@th_momma: 27 people???? hmmm I will have to think on it!

ETA: I totally think they'd kill the baby! They already killed Sophia! She was only a kid. I just don't think they will because I feel like she'll grow up to be this zombie killing ninja ass kicking girl. hahaha ( I can dream!)

@BelugaBean: Well, Beth is not a very strong character... I don't think the baby will die because I think Rick needs her to survive, ya know? I could see Beth dying, Merle, Milton, probably a few of the governors men, the governor, geez... I dunno if I could make it to 27 without killing off some of the main characters (which I hate doing!)

  29. MrsTiz

    cantaloupe / 6800 posts

    I think:

-Milton will go to the prison
    -Merle will die
-Andrea is going to get the bejeesus beat out of her and Tyreese will save her
-I think Morgan set the walker pit on fire

  30. th_momma

    coffee bean / 37 posts

@MrsTiz: I hadn't even thought of Tyreese! And I definitely agree that Morgan set the fire. Do you think he may save Andrea? Or perhaps tell Rick and co that the Gov has her?

  31. .twist.

    pineapple / 12802 posts

@MrsTiz: @th_momma: I totally think milton started the fire. A results of Andrea telling him he couldn't just keep a blind eye to what was really going on and the conversation at the end where the Governor told milton he already figured out who started the fire. It was like a "I know it was you" type deal.

  32. MrsTiz

    cantaloupe / 6800 posts

@th_momma: I don't think he'll save Andrea unless he sees her getting tortured because he doesn't know who she is, he only knows Rick if I remember correctly (and now Carl and Michonne)

@.twist.: Milton is a crappy liar, but I think he is too big of a chicken to start it. If it wasn't Morgan, it was for sure Milton. I hope he goes to the prison side with Andrea!

  33. BelugaBean

    pomegranate / 3516 posts

Didn't Tyreese already admit to getting the gasoline? Maybe I heard it wrong. I thought it said that Tyreese set the fire with Milton giving him the gasoline? Maybe I made that up.

I actually don't see Morgan coming back. I feel like that episode a couple of weeks ago was closure for his story line.

  34. .twist.

    pineapple / 12802 posts

@BelugaBean: Tyreese said "come again?" Like he was very confused by the question about the Gasoline.

Milton is totally a crappy liar and you could read it all over his face and I think that's why the governor already knew it was him. He didn't do anything... yet, to milton, but he will.

AHH! I am so incredibly happy I found this thread! Ladies, I am obsessed with Walking Dead. I've read as much as I can of the graphic novels and have watched every episode (past seasons, I've watched more than once while waiting for the break to end). I love the show!

Last week's episode was awesome! I honestly HOPE it was Milton who took the stand, although now he's probably going to be horribly killed by the govenor. I think Andrea may be held for ransom for Michonne if Rick refuses to hand her over.

I thought the episode with Morgan was the best episode since the pilot of the series! Seriously, the acting in this show never ceases to impress me (an aspiring actress myself). I am almost five months preg so I am sure my LO is hearing the sounds outside the belly of this crazy show! DH and I call him "Lil Ass Kicker" in honor of Daryl's nickname for Judith. LOL!

  36. .twist.

    pineapple / 12802 posts

@greenebee: We have been wanting to read the graphic novels really bad! Just haven't gotten around to it.

  37. BelugaBean

    pomegranate / 3516 posts

@.twist.: Oh, duh, I did hear that but I had to ask DH to repeat it so I guess it went right over my head. Then I agree it was Milton all the way. I actually thought he was going to shoot Milton right there in the street.

@greenebee: I've started the graphic novels but I haven't gotten very far at all.

Also, I meant to add earlier that I read that a major character is dying next week. There is speculation as to who it is but I won't ruin that for anyone who hasn't seen the articles about it. : )

  38. greenebee

@.twist.: They are wonderful! Very hard to put down once you begin reading. But they have MAJOR differences from the show (in timeline and certain events). That being said, I truly believe that the show does the comics/novels justice (also since the creator of the series works on the show). When you get the chance, I highly recommend them.

@BelugaBean: REALLY? A major character death is going down next week? We only have two episodes left!

  39. BelugaBean

    pomegranate / 3516 posts

@greenebee: That's what I read and @th_momma said 27 people die in the finale. So apparently the last two episodes are going to be intense.

  40. .twist.

    pineapple / 12802 posts

@greenebee: That is good to know it does the GN justice. I am veeeery judgy about book/movie/series adaptations, which is one of the reasons I haven't read the GN's yet! I'm enjoying the show so much that I don't want to be like "WELL THEY DID THAT ALL WRONG". hahaha I really should learn to let that stuff go and enjoy it for what it is.

@BelugaBean: me too!!!!!! he seems SO angry with Milton! I'm worried for what will happen to Milton!
