What do you think of the new season so far? Do you think Lori's baby is going to come out as a walker? That's totally what DH thinks.
Who would you want with you out of the characters if you were in their situation. I'd definitely want Daryl, Glenn, and Hershel (for his medical knowledge).

I hope the baby isn't born a walker! How terrifying! I really don't like Ricks character anymore. He is so cruel now. I'd pick Glenn and Daryl for sure. I'm not sure about the rest.

I'm totally freaking out thinking that the baby will be born a walker. I was surprised by the events in the last episode, thought I can say I didn't really like the jail group that much. I think that the other two guys left there will be seen again...maybe as walkers.

I really don't think that the baby will be born a walker... that's just too weird (even for a zombie show). I would definitely take Glenn and Daryl... and one-legged Hershel (can't beat medical knowledge).

@Jennimac: well the only real thing I've read is what happened in the comic - there's a wiki page for the comic and all characters. The TV show doesn't really follow the comic for a lot of the story though, so who knows what will happen!! What happens in the comic is sad, be warned!
Personally, I think the baby will be some sort of clue to the cure to whatever causes people to become zombies....but I don't have any evidence for that feeling

Rick was nice before I think, but he had to take over for sake of the group. It was Lori who pretty much instigated the whole Shane vs Rick thing in the first place. I'm totally on team baby zombie. Either that or she dies during childbirth and then rick has to take care of a baby that is not his.

love this show. not crazy about rick, but it had to be done. the group was all over the place taking votes. you can't survive on democracy during the apocalypse.
i hope the baby isn't a zombie. i don't think it will be. i do find it interesting that @yoursilverlining mentioned the baby might be a cure. i can see that happening.

I agree that Rick isn't a great guy anymore but it had to be done. I still don't really like him or Lori though.
I do agree with Rick killing the one guy after he swung at him and pushed a walker on him, I was just surprised he did it.
Also, I can't stand suspense so I totally looked up what happens with the baby.

Definitely Glenn, Maggie, and Daryl. I think the baby will become a walker because I can't imagine them incorporating a newborn in the plot, but then again, they are pretty safe now.

@yoursilverlining: I totally spoiled myself by reading like the entire wiki one day. But I justified it because seriously so many of the details and characters are different. The main gist is all the same, but it seems like they change a lot for dramatic purposes, even creating whole new characters like Darryl! That being said... I can totally see the Carol character going the same way she did in the comic!
I really hate Lori and couldn't care less what happens to her. I'm not a big fan of Hershel either because I find him very boring. I like Maggie only because she's with Glenn. And yeah, what's with Carl and Bath?! Geez, I know the age difference isn't much in the storyline but they look about 20 years apart just from the actors.
I feel like Andrea and Michonne will be a much more interesting storyline than the prison group.

We had childbirth class this weekend, and while we were watching, at the beginning of the scene, DH said, "why are they laying her down? Now she has to fight gravity!?" I died laughing. TWD is semi- educational. Who knew?

Last night, ugh. DH says i'm mean for thinking this, but WHY did they chose the baby over Laurie to live? In today's world I would, but if it was a full blown zombie nation I think I would rather have an adult who is capable of fighting, gathering food, helping work, etc. over an infant with no clothes, no food, and no ability to contribute to the group.
Do you think there will be another season?They seem to be killing off the cast pretty quickly, although they are replacing them with new people like the Governor and the inmates..hm

I watch the show but I kind of hate everyone on it. I found the whole Lori storyline so incredibly ridiculous. Like, what are they going to do with a helpless baby? How are they going to feed the baby? I had meant to make my husband watch the birth episode first and let me know how it was, but it just kind of snuck up on us! Oh well, it was weird but I'm not too traumatized!

I completely agree - what are they going to feed the baby! I did not watch the actual "operation" since I'm sensitive to gore even when I'm *not* weeks away from delivery.
@mrstiz My husband said the same thing, cast members are dropping like flies. I know it is based off a graphic novel/comic book though, so I would guess that they have plenty to work from? I haven't read it so I'm not sure how faithful they are to the original writing/storyline.

We're watching this on Netflix and I'm way behind - but I keep waiting for them to kill of the key cast members and now I know they will! I like knowing what's going to happen ahead of time because I get too stressed when I don't know. Especially when it is a suspensful show like this one!

OK, I just finished watching the last episode. What the hell are they going to feed the baby? Why would she want to be cut-up when she's the only source of food for her baby?! I've kept away from Wiki so I don't know about the Comic plot but I'm so curious how they'll weave the a screaming, crying baby into the plot!

Just finished last nights episode. In tears!!! What a crazy episode! I had the feeding question too - guess it adds more suspense because they'll have to go into town to get formula. Loving this season

I just finished last's night show and it was crazy and so sad! Although I agree with everyone else, a baby is not good to have in their situation. The baby is going to require constant care and what if it cries when they need to be silent (as is always the case with my baby at least).
I'm also really curious as to what happened to Carol. And a bit weirded out by Andrea flirting with the Governor.

@MrsTiz: I don't think they ever would have made that choice, but she made it for them. She didn't exactly give Maggie much leeway where that was concerned. By saying, please, for all of us, I think she was hoping the baby would be like a beacon of hope for the group. I've also told DH that if there are any problems in childbirth, to choose the baby over me. Even though I know he won't... I just think it's a very strong maternal reflex type of thing to do. But so sad!

@Crumbs: I think she maybe was concerned about the baby dying while still inside of her! Remember her conversation with Hershel about having a zombie baby rip her apart? yughghghgh.

I figured I'd bump this since the second part of the season started. What do you think so far?
I'm actually really surprised that no main characters, besides the prison guy, were killed at the end of the last episode when the Governor attacked the prison. I honestly thought that was the end of Herschel or possibly Maggie (I pictured Maggie dying and Glenn going nuts on the Governor).
Rick is going a little insane though. I'm glad Daryl came back to join the group because they were starting to get a little sparse as far as sane, productive people go.

I didn't read anything up above because I just started watching and I am on season 2. I am SO addicted but I watch the episodes with DH on Netflix at night (even though he has already seen them). I wish I could just watch them all day!

@BelugaBean: I agree! I actually thought the first episode back was reeeeeeally dull and I didn't like it at all. I'm not really into rick going all crazy town on everyone and I think the weird tension between maggie and glen is stupid and I'm not really sure what their problems are. They were SO happy to be saved and as soon as they left the governor's territory they started fighting? I am confused.
However, I did enjoy the most recent episode. I am soooo glad that Daryl came back, he was one of my favs. It will be interesting to see how they handle this new situation. I wish they would take in more people, I know I would try to expand my army.

I am glad Darryl is back too. The governor is nuts and I wish Andrea would see that already. The new group at the prison is a nice little twist since they do not agree on wether to befriend the main group.
