Did anybody see this past episode! I was bawling like a baby at the end! Definitely one of the best yet, and really shows they're not afraid to depart from the original series!

I was bawling too. I almost couldn't watch when Rick saw Carl...
To me, it was SO sad to see her say goodbye to Carl. And for Carl to be there, and for him to say bye to her that way. Gives me chills when I think about it.

@NYCaliMama: I know! His reaction was so strong. You could feel the intense regret. I just felt awful. I didn't even really like lori's character but it was so sad. I kept telling myself, no way will she die... Right?

I must be the only one who didn't cry. Now I cried when Rick saw Carl and fell out, but with Lori I didn't. That's messed up about TDog too. He made it to season 3 though.LOL
I think Lori may be alive and Carol may help her. Farfetched, but hey, I thought Andrew was dead too.LOL

I didn't cry but it made me so sad when I saw Rick put together the pieces. I didn't even LIKE Lori but ... I didn't want her to die!
It was definitely an INTENSE episode!!! Can't wait for Sunday to come!!!

@MsMamaBear: i'm very curious about what happened to carol. and poor tdog! that scene of the walker ripping out a huge chunk of his neck is burned in my memory.

I agree that I didn't like Lori but I didn't want her to die, especially like that ! And I'm really curious about Carol.

I didn't even think about Carol.... I guess they found her scarf but she never did meet them in the clearing did she? HMMMM....
Also, is any one curious if the Governor et al will find the jail?? Wasn't there a scene in a commercial with Rick Talking to the Governor? I'm really curious about this!!

I loved lori and i bawled like a baby too. My hubby even cried! He said that scene had more impact after he experienced childbirth....
That scene was so brutal.

@.twist.: Yes I think this must be inevitable! I want to say when they had previews for the season, they had a Rick/Gov interaction. I bet that with Merle looking for Darryl the Gov will use him to find this group of people. He seems hellbent on becoming the one remaining leader on earth.

I couldn't STAND Lori's character, but I was deeply affected by her death and then by Rick's reaction. Oh my gosh.
I guess I just assumed Carol died. Or became a walker. They stepped over a body...I thought that was hers.
The Governor gives me the creeps...I can't wait to see how he develops.

@littlebug: No that was T-Dog's body, that's right where he was eaten by the two walkers that he held back so Carol could escape. I bet she's still alive -- I wonder if she'll be the way the Governor is able to find the group at the jail (if he does)??

@.twist.: I do! I think he's a total psycopath. I mean, he keeps live zombie trophy heads in aquariums! I bet he has his wife and daughter zombified and locked up somewhere, like a demented Hershel. I agree about Merle, he's super creepy (though maybe slightly less offensive than last time we saw him).

@ladyfingers: Do you think Carol is strong enough to go off on her own? I don't think she had any weapons.
The Governor overall freaks me out. He's just strange and seems untrustworthy.

@ladyfingers: He even had peoples heads who weren't zombies! Like the soldier who told him where all his soldier buddies were, I think he killed the soldier because he didn't want him to be part of their little cult. I think he has something against military? Not sure...

@mandb36: True. I just can't figure out why they wouldn't show her being killed if she's going to die. She was a pretty key character and I can't imagine she'll be another, "Oh look, there's a zombie who used to be our friend" character. If they assume she's dead... something tells me she's not.

@ladyfingers: True. DH doesn't think she's dead because showing the deaths on the show is half the storyline.
On a side note, I don't really like Carol.

@.twist.: I personally think that he killed the soldier and let him turn so he could get his head! That's how twisted I think he is. Yeah I think that he realizes if he'd let the National Guard in, they'd be telling him how to do stuff. He'd rather keep his little group of "soldiers," probably all men he'd rescued just like Merle who feel loyal to and saved by him.

@ladyfingers: Oh, I keep forgetting about the turning after their dead thing. I bet you're right! He's such a creep. I am really curious as to what he'll do next, when will they figure out he's bad, etc.
@mandb36: I don't really like Carol either... I find a lot of the women on the show make me angry and they do stupid shit. haha

I expected Lori to give birth during an attack, but I didn't expect her to die! I shed some tears over Rick's reaction. It's a shame Lori died because the baby doesn't have much of a chance to survive. It's going to be hard to find formula I bet.
I think Carol is still alive.

I wasn't thinking she'd die either. Not sure why not when she had to have a csection.
Anyone read the walking dead book, Rise of the Gov? It shows his story before he became the gov. It's REALLY good!
