What would you put an almost 3-year-old girl in for an October wedding in Orlando? "Semiformal attire requested." I'm not into anything too frilly, but am open to all styles/colors, etc.
For bonus points, what would you wear to fit in that dress code? (I will likely try to shop in my closet, but I am not sure of what the expectation is for "semiformal".)

October is still going to be boiling hot so weather wise just think of it as a summer wedding.

And I have a navy and cream lace overlay dress that I wore to a wedding last year, that I would wear again in a situation like you describe. Something like these I think. I take semi formal to mean, don’t show up in jeans or a ball gown. And I hear FL is more casual than the northeast, where my weddings usually are, but i haven’t attended one there besides in Miami which is its own world.

And thank you for the input about my dress! I have a short lace dress that I think will work if I go with dressier shoes and accessories.
