How did your second (or third or eleventh) measure up (literally) to your first?
If you wouldn't mind noting gestation as well.

Slightly heavier but shorter.
DS1 - 5 lbs 13oz, almost 21 inches (38w 4d)
DS2 - 6 lbs 1 oz, 19.5 inches (39w 1d)
I had GD with both pregnancies, which was diet controlled (longer with the second by an extra 10 weeks). Docs were never concerned with weight with my first but got on my case with my second. I had to go in 2x a week for ultrasounds, and baby was healthy, just smaller than they would like. Docs also wanted to induce me at 39, but I made my case for waiting until 40 as long as all ultrasounds were good.

I was just coming on here to ask this!! DS was 9 pounds and delivered vaginally. I'm terrified to think that this LO cooking could be bigger

My first was 8 pounds 13 ounces and was 10 days overdue. My second was 7 pounds 8 ounces and born a day after my due date. They were only a half inch difference in height.

LO2 was lighter, same length but was born 3 weeks early. I'm guessing she would have been heavier had we gone closer to the date, there was an 11oz difference.

I can't wait to be able to answer this!! So curious, especially since I gained only like half the weight this time!
9lbs 1oz at 41w for DD
We'll see in a week or two for #2!

@Beebug: I was thinking the same thing!
DS was 10lbs 9 oz and 20.5 inches at 39 weeks. So far this little guy is measuring smaller and I've gained about 15 pounds less. We'll see in a week or two!

@oliviaoblivia: Repeat c section. I had a good experience the 1st time. Early on I assumed this baby would be big too so I just thought it would be best. Well, I have GD this time and have had a lot more monitoring to track his growth. He does seem smaller but I'm ok with not having a vaginal delivery. I know what to expect with a c section.

S was bigger than D but M was smaller than everyone at full term. D was 6.5 lbs but he was 8 weeks early. He was gonna be huge. M was bigger at 7 lbs 4 oz but was full term.
