I really disliked it for a long time. But now I throw some granola into vanilla Greek yogurt and I like it!

I've always preferred the thicker consistency of Greek yogurt to normal yogurt.

Yes, it was, and there are still only certain kinds that I really like! Chobani, or any kind with fruit on the bottom, doesn't do it for me. I like the Wegman's brand, though!

@LovelyPlum: I won't eat fruit on the bottom either for any kind of yogurt! I NEED a Wegman's here.

Maybe, but I haven't acquired it yet. I don't like anything yogurt-y or many foods with a similar consistency. I do like cottage cheese, however...

I like it, but I have to have something mixed in with it. I love it with granola, nuts, or honey.

No, I've always liked it. I like plain full fat Greek. I'll certainly eat fruit or honey with it but I love it plain! I've been known to eat a spoonful of sour cream though!

Yes, but now I prefer it to regular! Regular is too runny for me.

I have never liked GY. And it's not something that I am pushing myself to acquire a taste for!

I have tried many, many times to like it. Both LOs love it as does DH but to me, it always tastes like sour cream...No matter what flavor/brand it is!

I think I liked it pretty much right away, and now I really do not like regular yogurt! The texture is too goopy and runny for me now

It was an acquired taste for me too, starting with a full fat variety made it much easier to palate. My husband started buying full day honey Greek yogurt from Trader Joe's which is super creamy and just sweet enough. Now I can branch out but that is still my favorite. The other day I just had regular vanilla yogurt and threw it out, it was so sweet it was gross.

Yep, but now I like it way more than regular yogurt and we use it in place of stuff: sour cream, etc.

Yes! I still prefer regular. And I also can't do fruit on the bottom ever!!

It took awhile for me to get into Greek yogurt. I just ate a container of non-fat GY for breakfast. It's 4 WW points worth paired with grapes fills me up until lunch.

Yea. I like it better if I put my own fresh fruit in it to take the tartness out of it.

I have eaten regular plain yogurt forever, so that's not sweet at all, in fact, i feel like it is pretty tart. I like Greek yogurt, but I kind of hate that it's pretty much all you can buy in the supermarket, other than the fat free kinds with the aspartame.

This is really funny timing.. I just finished my first cup about 5 mins ago
I've tasted it a few times before but never could get past the sourness. This time I tried it with fruit in the bottom (black cherry) and LOVED it! I think I'm officially a convert.

@Weagle: I haven't acquired it yet either. I just plain don't think it tastes very good -- but I feel like I should like it, as everyone raves about it. I obviously suffer from peer pressure.
I am trying to use it in my chicken salad recipe tonight. I'm hoping it will help ease me into the taste.

@Weagle: Oh good! That's my plan. I'm glad to see you don't love it, but still like the chicken salad. I'd hate to waste all that delicious chicken.

Yes - I thought it was gross at first but made myself eat it for the protein - now I love it and cant stand regular yogurt!
