I never thought so... well maybe in the first season or two. But then I found his voice to get more whine-y.
And Ross and Rachel were NOT on a break!! And even if they were, when you have sex with someone else, I don't think you can reasonably expect to be taken back afterward by girlfriend #1!

I do more laughing at Ross than with him, but I do like him and want him with Rachel. I don't think they were broken up enough to justify sleeping with the copy girl.

I also found him to be too whiny. But I do think they were on a break. I wouldn't have taken him back after sleeping with that other girl though, it was just too soon. Having said that, that group was always very loose with sex. They would jump into bed with anybody, so I'm a little surprised that Rachel thought that Ross would wait.

I find situations with Ross in them more funny than I find his character (even though I don't really like any of the monkey episodes!). And they were on a break but not enough of one to sleep with someone else. Rachel was right- I always really liked her and Joey together

Ross (well, more accurately, David Schwimmer) is amazing at physical comedy! C'mon -- the leather pants episode?! It makes me laugh just thinking about the line "the lotion and the powder have made a PASTE!" Hahahahahaha
And, yes, they were on a break but no, he should not have slept with the copy chick.
