I've been working on backing up all my pictures a little bit every day, so I've been going through a lot of old pics.
My.... Olive was not cute the first couple months of her life! I think she was cuter in person... not very photogenic. But wow she was pretty alien looking and dark. Charlie outgrew that weird newborn looking phase a lot faster than Olive did, but he was not cute the first 2 months of his life either.
Was your Lo cute the first 2 months of their life?

Honestly, yes. I often get comments about how she doesn't look like a typical newborn. She's 2 months today, and although i'm biased, I think she's beautiful!

Toddler Girl was pretty typical...with the faint hair and the conehead. She was beautiful of course, but still, much cuter after 3 months. Wonder Baby has always been adorable, something about the mop of hair and big eyes.

Yes! DS is just over 7 weeks and never really went through the alien infant phase. I know I'm a biased new mom but people remark that he's a cute baby all the time : )

No, I was worried for the longest time that I would have to live through my own version of the Seinfeld episode about the ugly baby. I'm so glad she changed into a cute baby - lol!

I agree with you... when LOs are older and you look back at pics, you're less biased for some reason!
I'll be the first to admit my first DD didn't really get cute until around 3 months when she got chubbier. My second DD though, she was pretty cute from the start, but definitely got prettier at 3 months too. I think most babies start to look better at 3 months honestly, but there are some lucky ones who are gorgeous from the start!

Both my kids were not so cute the first couple months. My daughter took longer than my son for her cuteness to come in as well. She still has this awkward mullet hair.

I don't think LO was cute at all the first couple months. My mom would say LO was so cute and pretty and I would tell her I think LO is slightly funny looking. My mom would say I shouldn't say that about my own LO.

Yep! All of the hospital nurses kept remarking about how beautiful she was when she was born, and people stop me everywhere we go to tell me how cute she is. She is 3 months old today and is pretty darling, I think

Yes, she was. I think it has a lot to do with size and shape. LO was a huge newborn and had a very round face, so she was cute and chubby from the get-go. My neighbor has a daughter 4 weeks younger and she was tiny and weird looking and still is at 2 months.

Yes she is. LO is only 9 days old, so I'm definitely biased =) She's born pretty plump and with smooth skin, so she didn't have the wrinkled look at all. The midwife kept commenting on her skin and her little double chin. Her skin was nicer when she was just born than it is now (she's a little jaundiced and starting to have a few blotches here and there).

Right now we both think she is a lot cuter in person than in pictures/video. She has some odd shadows on her face that I don't notice except in pictures. We do have people tell us she is a really cute baby, but we'll see as she gets a little bigger and we look back on her pictures.

I think LO was so cute at birth. But from when she was 2 days old until 2 weeks old, she was alien-ish from losing so much weight. But from week 2 on, I thought she was so so so cute. Hehehehe. But I'm her mom.

All the babies in my family tend to be big and plump so when I had my twins and they were super skinny I just wasn't used to it. They were pretty funny looking. I could see all the ridges in their skull and bones in the legs. It was pretty gross. It took about 4 weeks to plump up then they started getting cuter. My older son and younger daughter were pretty cute right from the start.

I'm sorry but basically NO babies are "cute" when they're newborns. All parents are biased, but I can tell you as an outside opinion, they are much MUCH cuter when they're a little older. I appreciate your honesty @Mrs.Bee!
