E was definitely planned. I sort of wish our second, if we have one, would be unplanned, but that's unlikely (and dangerous) since I have a Mirena.
Was/were your LO/s planned?

We planned our first since he was adopted, the twins took us by surprise, then we planned our fourth.

Our LO was not planned. We weren't trying to prevent pregnancy but we weren't trying and she was a total surprise.

Yes she was planned! I kinda hope the next is more of a surprise, if that makes sense.

Very planned - tried for awhile!
I hope the next one will be a little less planned. Hopefully I won't be as obsessive about TTC!

@Mrsbells: same! We got pregnant 2 months after our engagement. I guess we were too excited lol

Planned...tried for...prayed for...BEGGED for. Finally worked after a year of trying

Both, LOL. We had been trying to have a sticky pregnancy for about a year. I finally said "screw it" and stopped taking my fertility medications and took a "break" from TTC. Of course, then I got knocked up. So it's like...she was kind of a surprise. But kind of not because dammit we'd been trying so effing long! i should've voted other, but i voted too quickly, haha.

Yes, she was very planned. I'm on lots of meds so I have to plan and wean off of them before babies.

nope!
was told it would likely be hard to get pregnant because of a couple issues I have,, so I got off BC to "prepare."
Got pregnant pretty much immediately after. Totally shocked.

A huge surprise!
I have PCOS and hypothyroid and hadnt seen AF in over a year.
Went to the acupuncturist for pain and asked him to try to make me more regular.
A month later I was pregnant! I was shocked and since I hadn't had a period in a year I had no idea how far along I was.
Obviously we are both adults and knew it was a possibility.
We wanted to try in a few years so he was just a little early.

Planned! I read TCOYF and started charting and bam! I was pregnant the first cycle off bcp.
DH and I didn't tell anyone we were trying, just in case we struggled (we've watched loved ones from both sides of the family struggle with infertility so we were nervous) so EVERYONE asked if LO was planned.

Planned. Got pregnant on the second try, though, which was a little surprising. I thought it might take a little longer.

No, they were not planned. The first one was a shock!

I put other. Was told it would be a long difficult journey. Boy were they wrong! Honeymoon baby. That's why I always tell people to pull the goalie only when they are ready for bfp that moment!

Yup he was planned for. O am kinda hoping my next is a surprise BC I can tend to be over obessed with TTC. Lol.

@FutureMrsMcK: ditto! I have this fantasy that #2 will be an oops! I'm not going on BC because I feel like if it took 10 months to get my Harper BFP, and I'm BFing, then we don't really need it since we plan to TTC again when H is 1 or so anyway. But I definitely hope we never have to TTC again!
ETA: Yep...Harper was mega planned!

Very planned. I read Taking Charge of Your Fertility and went off the pill several months before we started trying. I wasn't surprised but very pleased when it happened on the second month of trying.
For #2 I would like to be a little more laid back about it, but honestly, I do know my personality isn't well suited to being too laid back about it! Maybe with #1 here I'll be too distracted. We hope to wait at least a year between them.

100% planned. I really wanted a January-March baby and we were lucky to get a BFP after 2 months of TTC.

She was a surprise. Apparently I inherited my mom's ability to make babies by thinking about them...

Nope, DS was a surprise. I found out I was pregnant two weeks before DH deployed. We were planning on TTC once he got home, but I'm happy that we got a BFP before. Being pregnant kept me sane, believe it or not.

Yup. As my husband likes to say, those were the best, and quickest 2 months of his life.

Nope, not planned at all. Went off BC not for baby making reasons, had sex that day, told DH we will have to be more careful next time as to not get pregnant but the "damage" was done We were planning on having a baby, just hoped it would be after oir wedding (which we had been planning for November 2012). Moved the wedding up to November 2011 instead!

Not planned at all. I went off BC to regulate my period and we got pregnant right away. I'm off BC again, so I'm a little worried we will get pregnant before we are ready.
