@BandDmommy: Not sure if it's even possible, but is there a chance those tests are still picking up the hcg in your system from your last pregnancy? Have you had a period yet?

@jodyblair: I thought about that.. But that should be ou 3 - 4 days after delivery
kiwi / 611 posts
@BandDmommy: Really? Because even with an early miscarriage, hcg numbers can take a few weeks to get back down to zero. I would imagine with a full term delivery it would take quite a bit longer.

@BandDmommy: @jodyblair: Just googled and saw a study that hcg should be undetectable by 3 weeks after delivery.

@shellio: interesting! I would have thought it would take longer. In that case, good luck @BandDmommy! Hopefully the lines will start to get darker.

Well, I'm definitely not imagining this! Took a frer this morning with DH at 10 dpo. Part of me can't believe this is happening, but I just knew it. Good luck to the rest of you ladies!

@jodyblair: yayyy!! So happy for you! That's one heck of a line for 10dpo! Congrats mama!

@jodyblair: Congrats!!
Adding myself to the list!
Cycle Day: CD6
TTC Cycle #: 3
Ovulation and POAS dates: Projected O is 2/9; POAS 2/22 (I'm promising myself to wait until 12 DPO this cycle. We'll see how that goes.)
Baby #: 2 (DS is 2)
Your plan this month: DH leaves for travel on 2/9 so I'm really hoping that I don't O late. I haven't been temping or using OPKs yet, just monitoring CM. I got pregnant with DS pretty quickly at age 34 - that was with charting and temping starting a few months before TTC. Not sure what to expect this time around as I'm a little more AMA than last time! Please help me be more Zen about it.
Valentine's Day is my birthday! Since it's a Saturday this year we're going to skip the restaurant craziness and celebrate at home, then go out to dinner during the week when my ILs are in town.
Wishing little cupids for all! Good luck!

@californiadreams: I'm sorry
@jodyblair: Congrats!!
@2farmmoms: My fingers are crossed tightly for you! Here's hoping!
@Danizaur: Our bodies can be so frustrating! I hope it's just something wonky and not a too-early AF.
@MoreCoffee: Welcome &
I'm trying hard not to symptom spot, since I've had these symptoms a couple of times and ended up BFN. That said, I'm not hungry, I'm nauseated, my breasts are really tender, and I'm bloated / pinchy feeling. I drive myself crazy every TWW!

@ballerinabee: when are you testing? I couldn't remember when you are due for AF.
I'm not even sure how many DPO I am, but am not feeling much yet. My guess is that I'm 5DPO and did have a dip in my temp this morning, which is good..

@ballerinabee: Thanks! My temp is still low. FF adjusted my cover line so the low temps are just above it, but they're still awfully low and AF isn't supposed to be due till Wednesday. Not looking good

@ballerinabee: that sounds really promising! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

No POAS needed for me, AF came right on time! Good luck to the rest of the testers this month

@NorthStar: I'm trying to hold out and not test until the weekend (FF says wait until 2/8), but I'll probably cave and test Thurs or Fri. Ha. I'm 7 dpo now, so we'll see how long I can hold out! I wish I had remembered to temp this cycle so I could look at numbers instead of (most likely) psychosomatic symptoms!
A dip on 5dpo is great! It's probably too early for symptoms for you, so I wouldn't worry about that too much (because we always worry, right?)
@2farmmoms: I'm so sorry I hope you can get in to see a specialist, since your situation is unique. I'll be cheering for you!
@smith: Bummer. I'm sorry

@BandDmommy: okay so I secretly lurk like crazy on these poas boards because I live through others to quell random baby fever. Wanted to say that at my eight week appt to have an iud put in, they had me take a test (standard procedure at my ob I guess) and it was positive. Cue panic, had to have blood drawn, and it ended up being the hcg leftovers. Totally insane situation but it does happen. I know you were excited about this though so I'm hoping it's the real thing for you!!

@ballerinabee: Thanks. It's only my fourth cycle so I'm trying not to get too discouraged, but it's beginning to feel like this is going to be a much longer road than I expected. Right now I'm just feeling tired. Will try to get excited about our next attempt soon!

@Chaosmaven: My first time joining a month board, yay!
Cycle Day: Today is CD 13
TTC Cycle #: 1
Ovulation and POAS dates: Went in for my first IUI on Saturday 1/31. So I POAS on 2/14! Valentine's Day!
Baby #: 1
Your plan this month: I have a progesterone blood draw on 2/5. If that shows I ovulated (I think I did?!) then I wait until 2/14 to POAS. Would be very cool to get a Valentine's BFP but I am trying to remember this is only our first IUI.
And just for fun… any Valentine's Day plans? Brunch with my parents and dinner at an italian place with DW!
Good luck to everyone here!!

@2farmmoms: I am so sorry!! I thought for sure this would be your cycle. FX for next month!
@wrkbrk: FX for you! I got my BFP with LO on valentine's day 2012

@Danizaur: @NovBaby1112: @hilsy85: thanks guys. It really helps to have a group of people who understand and are just as obsessed as I am about the whole thing. My partner and I don't talk about it a whole lot (which I actually think is good, otherwise it could get way too overwhelming) and with the exception of one person, everyone else I know in real life has gotten pregnant on the first try every single time.

@2farmmoms: sorry to hear!! But it really does sound like you've got such better chances with this new donor, so hopefully February will be your month!
I find it amazing you're surrounded by such good luck though! In my close friend group, I don't know anyone who has had it easy. 1 friend had preemie twins at 7mo, one couldn't ever concieve, one had an ectopic pregnancy and lost a tube, one had hyperemesis and thus lost her job, two tried for over a year, many had miscarriages, etc. Sooo in my mind.... sometimes it seems dang near impossible not to be a downer but that's just who I am surrounded by.
I took tests at 9dpo and 10dpo, both . Tmrw is my test date but I'm not optimistic, my temps are low and I have no symptoms. We'll see.
