It's been 4 years and I'm finally thinking about selling my wedding dress. How much did you sell yours for and do you regret doing it? I only paid 600 for an Alfred Angelo dress and didn't have it altered at all. I'm wondering, since it's been so long, will I even get much for it? Thoughts? Thanks

I bought mine for $700, sold unaltered and not cleaned for $200 and some.

I altered mine and sold clean for about half what I paid. I think I sold it for $500. And paid around $1000. Plus I had paid quite a bit in alterations so the person got a good deal I thought as I believe she had my same or similar measurements.
I don't regret it. I bought a dress over budget with the intent to sell so my net pay out was more in budget.
I wouldn't expect more than half for yours because of how long it's been. Though maybe that depends on if it's still in stock in stores.

I personally wouldn't sell it unless you really need the money, but I'm the sentimental type. Do you have a DD? I've seen some really cute pics of little girls in their mothers' wedding dresses. The ones below come to mind! I just wouldn't want to miss out on something like that. Your DD may want to wear your dress or use part of it in her own wedding.

I sold mine and don't regret the decision. I'm not someone to hang onto something for years and years if I don't have use for it. I feel like the photos I have from my wedding day are enough for me to remember the dress by. I sold my dress for about half of what I purchased it for. The bride who bought it said it was her dream dress, but she couldn't afford it new, so I made her day. That made me feel good about selling it.

I'm not sure what to do with mine. It was pretty expensive but it was a gift from my parents. I don't have a daughter. Maybe I'll save it for a granddaughter!
