Suggestions for an outfit for my 2.5yo to wear to my 70yo MIL's wedding?
He is big for his age. His size 4T Carters pants are long enough but the rise is too small so they were giving him plumber's butt yesterday. But his size 5 Baby Gap shorts are a little too big and start to fall off sometimes.
It's a late summer wedding in the mountains with an outdoor ceremony. Probably less than 50 people will attend. Brunch reception in a private room at a resort.

Aww, I would use this as an excuse to buy an outfit from Janie and Jack. Not a suit, but maybe a pair of shorts, with a button down shirt, bow tie?
When my son was around that age he was in a wedding and my favorite outfit was a pair of navy pants and an anchor sweater.

Something like this. I guess it depends on what you wear. I always dress my kids in "church dress" for weddings so my 1yr old generally wears khakis or golfish pants, a button down shirt and a bow tie. (Added a pic of my son in his church attire)

Yeah. J&J is my vote. Their special occasion items are so sweet. I got T a gingham shirt for $15 recently.

Definitely check out Zara, they have cute thinner button down shirts and dressy enough shorts/pants!

I'd also check out Janie & Jack. They usually have pretty decent sales so not necessary to pay full price if you don't want to.
