Depending of time of year, New Orleans would be a great wkend trip. Relatively short flight from those airports. Tons to do if you’re centrally located to the French Quarter. It gets super hot and humid after April/May though. If you don’t mind a longer flight and a drive, wine country in Northern CA is romantic and lovely. But it’s a 4 hour flight and another hour or so drive.

Yes to NOLA. Or Nashville.

@castilrm: I second (or third?) N.O. I can give you a list of places to go or things to do as I lived there for a few years.

Cosign NOLA. Other ideas - Savannah, GA and Charleson, SC are supposed to be beautiful. NYC and DC are fun with tons of options.
