I went on a weekend girls trip to Chicago when DD1 was 15 months old.
And I had a 24 hr momcation when DD2 was 6 months old. I didn't go far!

I daydreamed about a solo night away from DH and DS when he was maybe 5 or 6 months old...I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that, lol. If it were just me, I wouldn't go more than an hour or so. But if it was with a gifrlfriend or group of girls, I'd go a short plane ride, not more than 2 or 3 hoours (but definitely long enough to get me to somewhere with palm trees)

A month ago went on a girls weekend. Went to a mountain cabin about two hours away. I went after work on Friday and was home Sunday by noon cause we had to check out by 10.

No solo trip for me yet, but a momcation sounds great.

15-16 months, went for 4 nights and stayed in a beach home with 2 of my best friends eta: went to fl, about a 3-4 hr flight

omg, that sounds like an amazing idea! I'd probably stay local if still nursing, and just do an overnight and sleep in, maybe a movie and a few quiet meals.

I went to Northern Cal to see some girlfriends from college when my DD was 9 months. It was heavenly (she was formula fed). With my DS, first time away was 11 months, for a destination wedding in CO. He was still EBF so it was trickier.

I went to DC while e was six months old! It was great!

When E was 15 months I went away for 3 nights in NOLA with my sister, and a few weeks ago I went away for 2 nights to a spa in cottage country with my bestie. @autumnlove: you should totally get away if you can!! It's really refreshing
