I'm so looking forward to this 3 day weekend!
D's birthday is on Saturday, and he told me he wants us to take E down to my ILs house so they can play with a big train set there (and so D can watch a baseball game--we don't have cable at our house). No other plans for the rest of the weekend, though. We might go for a hike or visit some friends in Philly if E is feeling better.
I also need to find D a suit for a wedding he's in next month....hoping I can get a good Labor Day shopping deal

Also looking forward to a long weekend with my husband! He's taking tomorrow off for A's birthday, and if it doesn't rain, we will go to the zoo. Not sure what's going on the next 3 days yet.

LOs birthday party is on saturday! I'm super excited about it. Then we'll take her somewhere fun on monday which is her actual birthday. Can't believe my baby is two *tear*

Thankfully. I have been so busy with so many things the last few weekends and now I finally have a weekend with no plans.
I would like to go to the mall, but if it doesn't happen I'm ok with that!

Sat night we are going out with our neighbors to watch some football! Sharing the babysitting cost, score!
Then Monday we are hosting a neighborhood cookout.

We're leaving this afternoon for a trip to my in-laws' cabin in the upper peninsula of Michigan. My husband is looking forward to fishing and hiking and riding 4 wheelers, and I'm looking forward to having lots of family around to watch my daughter so maybe I can take some time to drink coffee and read a book on the porch

@.twist.: Earlier in the summer we traveled out of town 4 weekends in a row (2 of them involved flights...). The first weekend we had home with no plans I don't even think I put a bra on Best.weekend.ever!

Travel with two other families to a lake house for the long weekend! Six adults, seven kids and one dog. Wish us luck! It should be a blast.

Not much! Our long weekend was last weekend, so we visited family then. This Saturday we will probably go out for lunch somewhere and Sunday there's a second hand baby/toddler sale nearby that I want to check out.

Very relaxing weekend. Saturday is FOOTBALL, my team is FINALLY back in action so we are going to in laws to watch Sunday is a daughter mommy day with my mom, I need a mental break so we are going shopping for some maternity pants that this expanding waist can fit into, and Monday we are spending with my family at the horse races to celebrate my grandpa's birthday (he's a former horse owner.)

Tomorrow we start painting Xander's new room!! Then Saturday we have a family gathering with my in-laws. Sunday is our relaxing day. And then Monday is a get-together with my parents and brother.

Babies' first tailgate! My husband has been waiting to take his kids to his alma mater for football games for YEARS. As long as it's not raining, we are planning on tailgating with my cousin and her family, then running into the stadium for some photo ops. I'm assuming they won't be up for any of the actual football game, but who knows? Maybe they'll be content to sleep forever in the Ergo and Moby!

We've stayed home for almost every holiday weekend this year, so I finally decided to go camping this weekend! They had availability so we took it! Get to go claming, crabbing and oystering (?) for the first time. Excited! Plus, they allow dogs. We might take the dogs on a boat!
