Please share your creative ideas for taking weekly or monthly baby photos. I've seen the cute monthly onesie stickers that you can buy on Etsy, but I wanted to see what you all have done before I buy a set of those. I want to be prepared and get the materials now because once he's born I know I will be too busy/tired and will forget to take pics!

my mom bought us stickers for my shower (including a "just born" one!) that we'll be doing for monthly. my friend also gifted us a set of 12 onesies with month decals and a pink tutu - so we'll be doing double the monthly pictures!
I also do a weekly of her in the armchair in her room with a little computer print that says the # of weeks and the date.

But I have a friend who used toy blocks to spell out the number of months every month.

I just do a little photoshoot of her every month and then photoshop wording onto it. No supplies needed.

I did the onesie stickers fro m"just arrived" to "One year." I also bought special "first holiday" outfits (like "my first halloween" etc.) We didnt do weekly pics

@sorrycharlie: I'm kind of hoping someone will get me a set of the stickers for my shower because I can't decide which ones I like. They are all so cute!
@artbee: Yes I've seen the blocks too, I forgot about those!
@zippylef: I'm considering just photoshopping wording onto pics too. It would be cheaper and I wouldn't have to worry about buying a year's worth of the same color onesies.
@livsmama: I've seen those "first holiday" outfits and I like tying that idea into either the onesie stickers or zippylef's idea.So many options

I was gifted with Milestone Cards from a friend in Europe. I love them.

I do the same as zippylef! I take monthly pics using a blanket that says "princess" on it we got as a gift as the background and put the things she loves at the moment.

We do a weekly pic in the rocking chair that's in his nursery. It's amazing to see how much he has grown!

i use a small chalkboard that i painted and just write the month number. i throw in a stuffed animal elephant in there to comare his size to. i will try to upload a pic tonite when i have my camera.

@runsyellowlites: thanks! We posted our pics at the same time! He wears his amber necklace 24/7...and I think it makes a lot of people mistake him for a girl! I totally wish I had written down all of the things that were happening at each month like you did. Penelope is adorable!

I'm planning on just taking weekly pictures and photoshopping onto it. I took his first week pictures today
Haven't done the wording yet though.

@oahujeni: my sister made them for me! She's awesome. The fabric is from Tonic Living. You can find similar fabrics at fabric.com but not the same colour way.

I use a dry erase marker on a picture frame with changing scrapbook paper backgrounds. All you need in advance are some cute sheets of paper and white onesies. Used a boppy for support at the beginning.
