At 37&4 she told me I was at 30lbs exactly. I hooooope to stay there for the next 14days until birth.

@TurtleDoves: If I'm at +30 at full term, I think I'm just going to call it a victory and just say I had a 30 lb weight gain. After 37 weeks, I'm parking my butt in Denial Ville:) Those last couple of weeks are probably stupid fluid anyway, so they *technically* shouldn't count!

25 weeks, 10 pounds. I'm only supposed to gain 20, so we'll see what happens in the next 15 weeks! I have to do the three hour glucose test next week (yuck), so I may be on a diet soon anyway...

I'm 13 weeks and down 1 lb. from my pre-pregnancy weight.
@WALLAROO: Do you mind me asking at what point you noticed the most weight gain? I've been worrying a little since I still haven't gained anything, though my doctor seems to think it's fine.

@Mrs. Blue: my weight gain has actually been pretty stable since the beginning. I was lucky that I had a very mild first tri and didn't experience morning sickness so was able to gain from the start. If your doctor isn't worried you shouldn't either. I'm sure the weight gain will come in the second tri for you.

oh my you ladies are SO good at keeping your weights pretty close to the "recommended"! I thought it would be REALLY hard as my GF just told me she gained 49lbs and another told me she gained 60lbs! Are y'all really watching what you eat?
I had nausea pretty bad first tri and lost some weight. Just the past two weeks I've gained about 2-3 lbs (17 weeks). I'm hoping to keep it at/under 30lbs. FX'd

Bumping for updates.
I'm almost 24 weeks, and I'm up 16 lbs. The Double Trouble are growing, and the belly is HUGE. I'm slightly concerned about my weight gain because I didn't start gaining much until about 15 weeks, but since then it's been almost 2 lbs. a week and I have hopefully another 12 weeks to go. I blame the holidays!

@MaisyMay: You're going to have the quickest "back to my pre-pregnancy weight" ever!

@Mrs. Blue: Being diabetic, I lost about 14 pounds during the first half of my pregnancy and have only recently gained all of them back and just a few more. At one point this pregnancy I was back to my high school weight and I'm hoping to get there a few months post-partum.

38w2d and up 9 lbs.
I was at my heaviest weight ever before I got pregnant and then lost between 15-20 lbs in the first half of my pregnancy.

This thread depresses me a little...but the doc says weight gain is fine as of today! 29 weeks, 27 lbs.

31 weeks & i'm currently up 18 pounds. i think 25 is probably the most i should gain for my whole pregnancy, but i don't think that will happen -- i'm getting bigger much quicker these days!

9w2d and I don't feel like I've gained anything because my clothes fit a bit better. But then again, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes so I was put on a pretty specific diet and consistent exercise. I suppose it's almost a blessing in disguise.

I only know my weight at doctor's appointments. I'm 22 weeks now, but at 20 weeks I was up 11lbs.

@Smurfette: Don't worry, I'm a fatty too - 27 weeks and 22 lbs.

I was up 16 lb a week and a half ago and now at 25 weeks, I'm up 24 pounds. My doc says I'm retaining fluid pretty badly

I watch what I eat, in the sense that I want to limit processed foods and fast food and ensure I'm eating the recommended daily amounts of fruits and vegetables but I'm not counting calories. I am watching sodium though (not counting, just being aware) because my blood pressure has been a little high. I eat when I'm hungry and I don't eat when I'm not hungry. That being said, I feel like I'm hungry ALL THE TIME.
-11 right now, but my dr recommended gaining 15 since I'm overweight to begin with. I think at this point (18.5 weeks) I'll aim to be back at pre-pregnancy weight by the end. I don't want to gorge on unhealthy food just to gain weight. I know I'm making smart food choices and eating plenty.

Update: 36 weeks, about 24 pounds. My doc says I'm doing just fine, but back at the beginning they said no more than 20. I'm feeling so large and uncomfortable right now. Ready to not be pregnant anymore!

I'm 28 weeks tomorrow and up about 10 lbs. That is entirely due to nausea in the first tri and only being able to eat small portions now (seriously, I feel like there is NO room in there). Baby is actually measuring a little bit ahead and my belly feels huge, so I'm not concerned about the scale. The variations in weight gain during pregnancy are crazy -- a friend of mine is very thin and healthy, and she gained 70 lbs while pregnant (and lost it all quickly)!

32 weeks this week and 20 pounds. I wanted to stay under 25 but doctor says 30 is just fine so that's my new goal Baby seems on the big side so far so I hope I make it! I notice that my weight gain(or baby's weight gain?) is definitely in spurts since second trimester.

@keepcalmcarrie: Glad to know I'm not the only one! I'm 32 weeks and up about 10lbs only. Fundal height is good and on schedule.
