I still refer to my toddler in months...18 months.

My baby is 12 weeks old!

I think weeks goes up to about 3 months. Then months until 2 (though between 12 and 24 months I round right). Then at 2 it is years or half years rounded. So right now he is 2 but in a month or 2 he will be 2 1/2.

I switched to months once he was 3 months. And I'll probably switch to years around 18 months and then just say he's a year and a half. He'll be two next February. Etc.

I think years after 18 months ("X is 1 1/2... X is almost 2," etc.), months from 3-18 months, and then weeks from 0-12 weeks.

After 8 weeks I started going by months.
Sometimes I say my dd is 2, other times I say 27 months. I'll probably drop the months and just go by years now

I used weeks until 3 months and will use months until 18 months.

I think we started going by months after about 12 weeks, and we'll start using years after 2.

1-12 weeks, 3-24 months, 2/2.5+ years

@autumnlove: up to 24m is normal

32m and 27w?! Weird.

I think I stopped at 12w. After that I just said 4m.
I think I'd stop saying months at about...23m. After that is just say 2..
