A girl I'm friends with on FB just gave birth to her first baby. She lives in my (tiny) town and I've been thinking about giving her an unopened bag of diapers LO outgrew. She also has a girl and I'd like to offer some of LO's clothes (in good condition), and a box of Lansinoh nipple shields (they're individually wrapped) and freezer bags I never got to use.

Thing is, we don't really know each other and haven't really spoken in person except for the occasional "hi" since over a year ago. We met in a language coarse and she was the new student, she also left the class shortly after so no one actually got to know her past sharing FB accounts. We comment on each others pictures now and then.

Would it be weird if I offered her the stuff? The problem would be how I'd give it to her. I don't know where she lives and even if I deliver it to her, I don't want her to feel pressured about entertaining (she just had the baby). It would be just as awkward sending her the stuff cause we're in the same little town.

So what do you think? Is it too weird if I offer her the stuff?

BTW, another reason I'm apprehensive is the cultural difference. She's from Romania and I'm not sure how things like this would be perceived in her culture.
