Mrs. Bee and I joke that she was a bad girl growing up, so Olive will grow up to be a h***raiser! Ah, Karma.
Ok, so Bee doesn't joke about this... I do and then she looks sad. So I am going to stop joking about it. Because we both want Olive and Charlie to be good boys and girls. 
Well at least, mostly.

Hahaha yeah I do. I was a really naughty toddler- my mom loves telling stories!
She said one time I took the shortening out of the cupboard and spread it all over the kitchen flour and proceeded to pour flour and sugar on top.
At night, my parents had to turn my dresser toward the wall because I would throw my clothes all over the room.

@mrbee: Mostly, that's the part I worry about.....but my husband called the nuns at his school some names and ran away, so I don't think there's any way karmas not getting us - that was before his teenage years.

@mrbee: No he didn't. He was supposed to give an apology and ended up calling one of the nuns even more names. He got kicked out of the school. He was a bad boy.

@mrbee: I remember getting into trouble for making fun of a nun. And then I think I lied my way out of it and didn't end up getting into trouble. Oh karma - yikes.

@mrbee: Hahaha, I'm going to suggest this to him. He still insists he was right and they were wrong and he just called them names because they were being mean He's friends with a couple priests on facebook, maybe they can help him track down the nuns. But maybe they don't want to be reminded of when they were called obnoxious elephants.

I was good as a child but I did a few and things as a teen. My husband was a goody two shoes though. Maybe our future teens won't be too bad?

@Maysprout: Aren't nuns pretty strict in general? You can't go calling nuns names just for being mean!
If he's religious, he could go to confession maybe and work it out that way? Maybe the priests would know. Haha I'd be scared about the karmic damage!!

I was good up until around 14 or 15, then I was totally awful. Me and my mom fought constantly, and I was just an all around bratty teen. We're having a girl in a couple of weeks, and I'm so afraid of what karma and her teenage years are going to bring.

Yes. I definitely worry about this.
My husband was incredibly good, so I hope that somehow means our kids will meet in the middle and be great!

I was not bad compared to some kids, but I definitely had an attitude. I was always quite bossy to my peers when I was young (up until 6th grade or so) and gave baby sitters a run for their money. My favorite line was "you're not my mom!"
In pre-school and kindergarten I got kicked out of Sunday School for not listening to the Sunday School teachers. The church elders actually had to have a meeting with my parents about my behavior--I was always bossy and extremely independent.
It's funny because now, as an adult, I struggle with speaking my mind and standing up for myself.
My husband, on the other hand, was an extremely well behaved child but a rebellious teen. He did the whole sneaking out/partying/alcohol/pot thing.
I am hoping our kids don't inherit either of our bad behavior!!

I was a very good girl. Too good. But, I want LO to be good, as well. She'll get into mischief and that's okay...I just don't want her to be bad.

DH was the clever, mischievous one. Boy the stories FIL tells me! When he was in Kindergarten, he got sent out to the hall for timeout. He was bored through his timeout, and decided to run into the women/girls' bathroom and lock all of the stall doors! IN KINDERGARTEN!!!!
(I, on the other hand, was a quiet, good child).
