I wasn't really until I got to college. I wasn't awful, but I was happy with mostly B's. Something changed in me for college though, I wasn't happy unless it was an A. If I got an A- I'd ask if I could do extra credit. I was crazy!

Yep! I graduated 5th in my class in high school. College was a little more difficult but I managed to graduate cum laude.

Nope. I was never a bad student but I certainly wasn't an all A student with a full ride to college like my brother. I got B's and some A's and C's. I just didn't like school.

Yes, I have always been able to pull mostly As and Bs without having to study too hard. I was lucky for that, I wasn't one to study at all!

I got mostly A's and a few B's. I got one C in AP calculus. I hated tht class. In college it was the same. Mostly A's and a few B's. Apparently I never talked about my grades though. At graduation they had cum laude and magna cum laude stand up. When I Did all my friends were shocked. I don really understand why I never hid my grades. Oh well, it was kind o funny

somewhat. I enjoyed most aspects of learning, but if a subject didn't interest me, I didn't see the point in learning it, so I wouldn't try. So I got C's in most sciences and maths. But A's in everything else.
In college I was the same way, I started to care. I worked my butt off to get good grades, and the last two years all I've gotten is A's.

I considered myself a good student with A's and B's. I was no where near valedictorian. I don't even think I was in the top 5% of my class. I think I was in the top 15%.
I maintained a 3.2 GPA in high school and college. I think that's pretty good considering I was a biology major in college.

High School: straight A's, 4.0 GPA, ranked #1 in my class (along with 21 other students- we had lots of 4.0 students in my class), got a full academic scholarship to college.
Undergrad: 3.93 GPA, double major (biology and chemistry), received 5 B's in 5 years of college- I hated them
Pharmacy School: 4.0 GPA
I am a huge nerd and love learning new things. Which is probably why I stayed in college until I was 27. It is interesting that doing well in school was so important to me. My parents never pushed me to get good grades. They were always proud of my accomplishments, but never pushed the issue one bit.

I loved school and the feeling was mutual. I do really well in standardized, timed, traditional testing kind of environments, so the whole college prep AP system worked great for me.

I went to a really difficult high school and took a lot of AP classes and got mostly A's with some B+'s thrown in. My overall GPA in college was 3.8, I was a double major in business administration and classics with a minor in economics.

@Leialou: way to go graduating as a cum laude!
I graduated from HS as valedictorian with a 4.5 GPA and finished college with 2 majors (MIS and Accounting) in 2.5 years with mostly A's, tossed in with a couple B's. Only regret was that I didn't go the Honors route in college.

I was an all A student until my jr year when I started not caring about school because of my bad hs bf. But I got my ass in check and got my crap together and graduated with a 3.9 (4.0scale), and I graduated college with a 3.5
I also went a year into night law school and had a 3.2? I think? I just submitted apps for my dual mba/msf program!
I'm a school nerd (:

Whoa! My 3.2 GPA makes me seem like a bad student compared to your GPA. Great job, ladies!

Yes, in high school I got A's and B's. In college, I got a bit distracted and didn't do so well the first year. I straightened myself out and graduated in 3 years with a 3.2 GPA though.

In high school I was a straight-A student and found school really easy and didn't have to study. I had a rude awakening when I got to university and almost flunked out my first year! I had to LEARN how to study and wasn't used to competition. I got my act together and did alright.

One of the best! @Rubies: Omg. I was totally cocky and full of myself going into college too! Totally got my ass handed to me first semester. HAHA
