I was jealous of my friends who had Fun Fruits/soda/chips in their lunches, cool toys, kids who didn't have to wear winter coats in their homes (my parents were cheapskates about the heater) and unlimited TV time!

Yep!! We didn't have a lot of money, so I was jealous of the ones that got new clothes all the time, were able to go out and do more stuff (lunches out, etc).

In elementary school, I was jealous of the kids that had fun lunches aka variety of luncheables or the cool lunch boxes.
In middle and high school, I was jealous of the kids that had name brand clothes like A&F, American Eagle, Guess, Armani Exchange, etc. or always had dates/someone always asked them to events (e.g. homecoming, various school dances (not prom)).

Oh yea. my one friend had a lot more freedom than I did and her parents were really cool and slack. She turned out really well (so did I, though) so I always wished my parents were like hers.
I also had a friend in highschool who I felt "stole my look".

Yes, the ones that had vacaton houses.even if it was a famiky home all their aunts, uncles, and cousins shared. I wanted my family to have an escape like that too.

Yes!! All the time, haha. I had one particular friend in middle school who had "cool" parents, an AWESOME wardrobe and great shoes. Also she was brilliant (hello, Harvard grad), very pretty, and musically talented too. I thought she was perfect so I was envious, even though we were super close.

Yes! I never had anything trendy and was jealous of my friends that did.

Yes, especially when it came to grades. I would get in trouble for getting a 98 on a test ("What happened to the other 2 points???") while some of my friends's parents were fine with whatever their grades were!
