We hit it off the first time we met, so jumped straight into a relationship. I tend to take a long time to trust someone, so it was unusual for me!
Were you friends with your SO before you got together?

Mmm...no? We met at a party, and immediately started "hanging out" for 6 months, but the kid refused to commit and I got tired of being glorified FWB, so I broke it off but we kept in touch. 6 months later, he told me he was ready to have a girlfriend and we've been together ever since.

Not really... More like acquaintances. It moved very quickly!

Sort of. We met three months before officially dating, but the electricity was intense the whole time.

Yep, friends all throughout high school. Our best friends were a couple... So we were always bumping into each other after highschool and then 4 years after graduating we became a couple.

Not really? Sort of? We flirted a lot & were cuddly from the beginning. We were an official couple about a month after we met.

We were friends for years before we started dating. While we were friends, it was purely platonic and there was zero sexual tension (well, from my perspective). We were truly just buddies. Then one day, it changed. It's funny how things work out!

Nope! He asked for my number the night we met, and we had our first date the following Friday!

nope, we hit it off right away, but i wasn't ready for a serious relationship, so we dated/he courted me for six months before making it official!

We were friends for a year before we got together. We even went on a double date with the people we were dating. weird.

We were acquaintances for a few years before we started dating. We had mutual friends so we would run in to each other frequently, but I wouldn't really call us "friends."

Yes. We knew each other since we were little kids and we were friends in high school before we started dating. He actually dated one of my best friends at the time. When they broke up, I became interested and we got together a few months later. Lots of high school drama ensued...oops!

Yup we were friends as freshman in college and started dating the year after.

We were pretty much instantly best friends from the day we met. He (though he hadn't told me this at that point) had just gotten out of a serious relationship a few weeks prior to us meeting so he wasn't ready for a relationship but we had immediate chemistry and were best friends and I wanted to date from the beginning. It took him awhile to come around to the idea, which was hard for me, but 7 months later we started officially dating!

Nope, I met him in a bar through friends. We went on our first date two days later and have been together since. It'll be 10 years together to the day on our 5th wedding anniversary this October.

We were friends for a year or two and then progressed. But I always knew we'd end up together. (I honestly did)

Nope. We were looking online for a romantic partner. We are buddies though.

He was my boss when I was 17 and he was 23. We stayed friends for 6 years then got together aged 23 and 29. Glad we were friends for so long first as we got to sew some wild oats before settling down. Haha

Yes, although we were not that close. We met about 3 years before we started dating.

No, and he was the first guy I wasn't friends with prior!

Yep! We were casual friends for 3 years before we started dating. We weren't super close, but we kind of ran in the same circles.

We were friends for 4 years before we started dating, but once we did, we immediately knew this was it. We were married 10 months later.

We worked together and were friendly acquaintances for a while before we started dating. We were 17, so lots of flirting and trying to get our signals figured out before he finally asked me out

We were friends! We had class together and had been paired up on some projects. He was dating someone else at the time, so we became friends. Over the summer between Freshman and Sophomore year, he broke up with his girlfriend and we started dating shortly after that!

When we first met we didn't really talk to each other. But after we met again a second time a few months later, we started hanging out "as friends" right away and started officially dating a month or 2 later.
