I know, I know -- don't compare! And I'm not!! (Since I don't keep track of anything this time, #secondchildprobs )
But just curious, did your LOs have similar timelines of hitting milestones, or were they different?

@mrsjyw: within a month or so
except for talking - DS was early and DD was way late

DD1 was early on just about everything.
DD2 has been even earlier.

DD has been earlier than DS on most gross motor skills, but he was only a month to 6 weeks behind. DS started speaking first, but at 18 months DD has a lot more words and is very verbal.
This is one instance where I find having twins so so intriguing. It's fascinating to see how individual they are despite having the exact same life experiences so far. They are very much their own little people, in both personality and ability.

Lo1 was super early on everything.
Lo2 has been following a more 'traditional' timeline.

Totally different! DD1 was on the later side for everything, DD2 has been on the extremely early side for everything!! It totally goes with their personalities though - DD1 is a bit tentative and hesitant to do things until she's sure she can do it, DD2 is eager to try everything and will keep trying things until she's mastered it.

My second is a little behind than E was. She was already crawling at 6 months and he's still twerking.

No! It's so crazy to me. Z was born with a tooth, P still has nothing at 8 months. Z didn't crawl til 11 months and P crawled at 6 months. 2 different kids!

So far, no. DS was on the late side for his physical milestones and didn't roll until maybe 6 months, didn't crawl until 10.
DD has been rolling both ways since before 3 months! She is also A LOT smaller so I think it's easier for her to move around.

Different personalities, so totally different with milestones.
DS2 walked much sooner than DS1, but DS1 sttn much sooner than DS2 (he still doesn't sttn, ugh).

They're very different. #1 had no teeth until 10 months, didn't sit up until 6, didn't crawl until 10 months ( and only army crawled then) and didn't walk until 17 months.
#2 has 6 teeth at 9.5 months, sat up at 4.5 months, crawled at 5.5 months and is walking with a walker at 9.5 months.

Pretty similar so far - they rolled on the same day actually! siting same time...crawling within a week.....I think DS2 pulled up and climbed stairs a month earlier....but DS1 slept through the night at 8 months....DS2.....still waiting on that one to occur with some frequency at 11 months....

DS was really early on his physical milestones but on-time for everything else. DD is on-time for her milestones.

With physical milestones, DD was 1 month behind when big bro did them. But she talked waaayyyy earlier than he did.

DS was born 6 weeks early and DD 4 weeks early so obviously DD crushed DS relating to milestones.
