for me its all about the babies! but adorable pregnant ladies also trigger the baby fever!
toddlers and up do the opposite for me and shut down the baby crazy, but all my friends with kids say that those are the best ages because you really get to see your kids becoming their own little people.
what about you? is/was your baby fever selective to certain ages?

I think I always thought it would be fun to have a 6-month-old, which is the age Baby Y is now. And it is ... but he's going through so much developmentally that it's also harder than when he was younger, in a way!

Newborns really make me melt, but older babies do too. As a preschool teacher, depending on the day, my 4 year olds can either be amazing birth control (haha) or they really make me want to have a child and watch them grow and learn (as opposed to just wanting a "baby").

Anything up to about 8, and even a 10 year old has triggered it. Today, someone TALKING about her 7 month old grandson triggered it. I've got it bad....

oh gosh, any. my dad got a vhs to dvd thing for christmas so we've been watching a ton of old movies, which has really triggered it.

@ LilTeacherBee: my work is filled with children also and most of the kids age 2 and up are still good birth control for me!
but babies. oh man. especially the 3-10 month old ones. in addition to the obvious adorableness i think it's the portability, or what my friend calls the "tree frog" stage!

I have an almost 5 month old and seeing brand new babies ALREADY makes me want another!! But we're SO not there yet.

Man, I love all of them. Super cute, snuggly looking infants will get me, but what tends to always get me are toddlers (like 18 months - 3 years). I am particularly drawn to toddlers that look like what I think our kids will look like, so black or biracial kids with curly hair. My Pinterest is full of curly headed little girls! Oh, and a dad with his little toddler... God, that REALLY does me in.

i love newborns. they're SO innocent and helpless. i also like after year 3 (hopefully after all the tantrums and bratty terrible 2s/3s haha)....
