My 9 month old is pulling herself up like crazy! I know it's just a matter of time before she starts cruising around furniture and then walking (tear!) What age did your child start walking?

I only voted for LO1 since you can't vote twice, but he walked at 10 months. LO2 took her sweet time and just now has started full time walking at 15 months.

He was cruising at 8 months and full on walking at the end of 10/almost 11 months.

DD1 walked at 10 months.
DD2 walked at 8 months.
DD3 better not walk at 6 months!

He started crawling at 7 months, pulling up at 10 months, but didn't walk until 14 months! He found crawling to be much more efficient

I didn't vote since I couldn't pick two. DS1 at 12 months and DS2 at 15 months. That is full on walking - not just taking a random step.

Xander started walking at 14.5 months. Logan is 12 months and we're still waiting.

Almost 15 months. He was pulling up and cruising by 11 months, but didn't walk for awhile after that.

It wouldn't allow me to answer for both kids, but first steps at 10 mos for DD1, 9 mos for DD2, walking strongly, well before their first birthdays.

LO #1 - 18 months... I had a late walker.
LO#2 hasn't started walking but is majorly cursing at 11 months (started at 10 months)

My DS started walking at 15 months. He just stood up and walked. He didn't take any "first steps".

@QBbride: my little sister did that at the same age! One day, she just got up and walked across the room at 15 months, and completely shocked my mom!

First steps across the room at 16 months, then exclusively walking within about a week if I remember accurately.

I voted 12 months. She was def walking before that, but I'm just counting like full on walking versus able to take many steps.

Wow, the poll is so evenly spaced!
My LO was walking in the 11 month time frame. She stood on her own right at 11 months and was walking by the time her first birthday party rolled around which was at 11 months and 3 weeks. I voted 12 months since she wasn't walking at her 11 month birthday but was at 12 months.

Right before his 1st birthday! He didn't learn to crawl till almost 11 months so I was surprised he walked so quickly! But he did enjoy standing from early infancy.

Dd walked at 14 months. Ds is only 8 months now but he is nowhere close. He can't pull himself up yet!

Almost 14 months - but once she started walking she was so solid and never really fell or was wobbly so I think she just waited until she knew she had mastered it
