We stopped with DD1 a little after 2 years old because we needed it for DD2. Plus, DD1 was in her big girl bed at the time so she could come get us if she needed something.
I think we'll finally retire it around the same time for DD2.

DD is 3 and we still use it. we even bought a 2nd camera for DS. I just like knowing if she's really sleeping at nap time or when we first put her down, or if she's rolling around, playing, etc. And occasionally she still cries for us at night, even though she knows she can get out. I don't think I'd hear her otherwise bc she's at the end of the hall away from us.

I use it for my 2 and a half year-old because he will wake up and just lay there (today he was awake from 4:30-6, but didn't make a peep), so I can monitor how much he is actually sleeping (no idea why, I can't make it better, so I just obsess over it). But I never use it for safety or to check on what he's doing anymore.

I still use it for my one and three year olds (two cameras). Mostly because we live in an old house without central AC, so I'm nervous I wouldn't hear them call for me over the roar of the portable air cons!

still using it for my 2 year and almost 9 month old and no plans to stop. We just transitioned him to a big bed and he still stays in bed until we get to him, plus we like to know when and if he is actually sleeping. We have a second camera that we got for free so will just use that when LO2 gets here.

We stopped using it a few months back at 2.5 b/c it broke and we felt ok not getting a new one. But we'll get one for the new baby and perhaps get a second camera once M is in a big bed.

We keep the camera in her room on still at 2.5, but I almost never have the receiver on. I only use it if she's not feeling well or something.
