My daughter has started getting up way earlier than usual, and I'm 32 weeks pregnant and sooooo not in the mood! I'm wondering if it'd be worth trying a toddler sleep clock... She'll be 3 in April.
When did you get one? Did it work?

I got one at not quite 2.5 it worked great for 3 weeks and now he ignores it if you ask him if it's on he turns on the nightlight feature. It's lighting up hooray uh no dude you are supposed to wait for it to be green.

She was a little over 2.5 when we started it and it worked great for 3 months. Now I don't know why we still have it. We got a remote for her light so she can turn it on and read till her clock is green. Tried no TV unless you stay in your room. Bribes, gummies and juice for breakfast, ice cream outing. Nothing works. Homegirl don't care. She will be 3 on Friday.

My DD got one right after she turned 3. She thinks it's awesome but pays it no heed.

We got one for our 2 year old when he was going through a rough sleep patch - I don't know if it was a coincidence but he did start sleeping through the night (or at least not crying for us if he woke up).

We have it for our 2 year old. It didn't work when he could open the door to his room and exit whenever he wanted but we then locked the door and used it. Now 90% of the time he just lays in bed and waits for his light to come on and then I open the door for him.

I think it depends more on personality than age. If your kid is a good rule follower and susceptible to bribes then it will work well. Unfortunately mine is not, And it doesn't really work.

My LO is 2.5 and it has been working for about a month, for the most part. I was really surprised that she obeyed and waited actually. She usually wakes up about ten minutes before and sits in her bed and sings until it lights up. I'm pleased.

We got one for DS at just after 2.5. He understands that he has to wait for the sun to come up but that rarely happens. He loves turning it on before bed and when we go to get dressed in the morning he gets excited to see the sun.
I'm still hoping that one day it will work, but I doubt it will.

It was freaking magic for us. And still is a year later. We started using it at 2 years exactly, and it probably started really working a couple months later. Now 3.5 and it works really well. He goes back to sleep if he wakes overnight without calling for us (even goes potty without us), and will wait quietly until it turns green in the morning. My only complaint is that with the one we got, the green goes off after 30 minutes, and his wake time is so variable, sometimes he doesn't know he's allowed to get up. Not a huge problem, but sometimes he wakes up before the light and thinks he may have slept through it. Not a huge problem, but if i were looking again, I'd try finding one where the green stays on longer.
Bonus: We used it when traveling to a new time zone (4 hours off) and it was a huge help.

@Jess1483: so you have the OK to Wake clock? If so you can change the setting so it stays green longer! I changed it so it's green for an hour and a half if I don't shut its off.

We got it at 2.5 and it's worked for us for 6 months so far. She almost always wakes up before the clock. She's so proud that she waits for it to come on.

@Foodnerd81: really? That's so exciting. Thanks for letting me know!
