Charlie and Olive do not like butternut squash or sweet potatoes -- both things they used to eat. They're so sweet and delicious though! They also do not like potatoes (except french fries of course). Olive does not like yogurt. Neither like honeydew or hummus.
What are some yummy foods your LO should like but doesn't?

Milk. All of it. We're having some feeding issues and it's really frustrating that he doesn't often want to eat!

Same. I don't know why she doesn't like squash or any kind of potato (except for French fries too).

My son doesn't like fresh mangoes, only the dried version. We gave him a mango lassi yesterday, which he liked too. He doesn't like anything mushy like melons of any kind. Think it's a texture thing. Do they like sweet potato fries? That's how I get him to eat sweet potatoes. The yellow kind looks almost like fries after they're done.

Mine doesn't like yams anymore. She also doesn't like whole milk!!
@Rubies: i put avocado in rice and gim and that is the only time she will take it.

He doesn't like meat! He'll eat it when he's hungry but always chooses vegetables and fruit over meat haha!

she had cake for the first time in her birthday a little bit, then was more interested my hummus. I don't think she 'gets' sweets yet.

@Rubies: awww it would kill me too! M eats about 1/2 an avocado a day! It's a staple in our house!

Eggs, gah. Such a good protein. My daughter also won't drink milk, which is a bummer. Such good protein and fat.

@Weagle: my DS hated bananas until 15 months and I seriously thought he was allergic. But now he eats them just fine, although they are clearly not a fave.
We are still working on avocados for both kids.

i give her very little so it isn't that bad. No problems with sticking to the roof of her mouth though.

Another potato hater! Potatoes in all forms, INCLUDING french fries!!! He can't be my child... I could eat fries EVERY DAY (and some weeks I do).
He doesn't like any kind of sauce or dip. Can't stand ketchup. That kills me!!

If he tried cotton candy I'm sure he'd like it but the one time he saw it at a party and asked what it was, and we told him candy, he looked at us like we were insane. Didn't even want to try. Which is good!

@mrs. wagon: i wish DD didn't like ketchup!! we'll put it on eggs, and sometimes she'll just lick off the ketchup without touching the eggs... or gobble it up on its own by the spoonful. yuck!

My LO used to love avocados and sweet potatoes not when we moved to finger foods she doesn't like them. She also doesn't like blueberries (loves all other fruits)!

@Mrs. High Heels: haha yeah, one of my friends' sons dips his fries in ketchup, sucks the ketchup off, and dips again... heehee.
@Arden: this exactly... it's nice to be able to eat fries freely without worrying about him asking for them! cookies and ice cream, however....

I did find a great way to hide spaghetti squash though. I baked and then pureed like we did when she was a baby and did a 50/50 mix with applesauce and she doesn't know the difference. Sometimes I put it all back in the applesauce jar to really sneak it! She loves applesauce but its nice to know she's getting a good yellow veggie in too! I think you could probably do the same with maybe acorn squash.

Spinach, tomatoes, pineapple (which is weird because he eats pineapples at daycare, only not at home), and blueberries!!
He used to eat carrots but now he toss them. Tofu also. I haven't tried tofu for a while now so I don't know what his reaction will be.
I actually haven't tried squash. And I should make more sweet potatoes... haven't done that for a while! (And he is usually ok with it).
Thank God he loves milk.
