I am afraid of large spiders and heights, yikes. What about you?

@Leialou: I'm always fascinated by this fear. Did anything bring it on? Is it just scary clowns or all clowns?

@.twist.: When I was a toddler I saw a scary clown on TV. I was really scared of them when I was a kid. My grandmother had to pack away her cute clown figurines. Now scary clowns freak me out but happy clowns just make me uncomfortable. I think it's the makeup.

I'm afraid of everything: rats, waterbugs/roaches, heights/falling, cars, airplanes, the ocean, being pushed off the subway platform, earthquakes. There's more but you guys will think I'm crazy.

@Leialou: like IT? because he freaks me out too and I don't have a fear of clowns.

I'm deathly afraid of snakes. Even if it's fake and is a stuffed animal. Anything that resembles a snake gives me a meltdown/heart attack.

At this stage of my life, never getting a job, and all the law school loans attached to my social security number. First world problems I know!

@mrsjazz: Let's hear it!!
As for me, I have a fear of heights, a fear of public speaking (largely conquered) and I really don't like it when people get impaled with swords on television.

@mrbee: oh yeah public speaking, I need to add that to my list. I hated getting in front of the class in school, I'd even fake sick on days I knew I had to.

Oh yeah I have a fear of honeycomb shapes. More so makes my skin crawl. I cry if I have to look at anything similar to that, or clusters of any sort.

@mrbee: @Bao: Ugh. I had to Google to show you what I mean. It's not as bad looking at it online, but I can't look at my husband or friends like this--for instance lying down in the grass--there's something about upside down faces that look really evil. I have nightmares about these faces sometimes.

Nothing really. I can hold snakes or spiders. Heights dont bother me a bit....but in all honestly......crabs.....crabs freak me out. I cant say I am afraid....but I just find them really creepy and "not right". THEY WALK SIDEWAYS!!!!

Ladders and attics. Any other high up place I can do just fine, but ladders, specifically ladders into attics, are just a no-go. I haven't set foot in my home's attic and have no plans to. I'd go skydiving and ride roller coasters all day, but screw attics, man.

@mrsjazz: OMG upside faces ARE scary! Never noticed that before!
I'm scared of preying mantises, deep water (like the ocean or the deep end of the pool), sunflowers, the dark, loud noises, porcelain dolls (omg these freak me out so much).

Spiders, snakes, clowns, creepy evil children (especially ones that move weird, like the girl from the Ring or the boy from the Grudge). Um, mirrors in dark rooms, but especially mirrors in dark bathrooms--I'll close my eyes and run by them at night...too many games of Bloody Mary when I was a kid, I think
